Emerging Manga Novels & Stories

"Then, Elara, can you come back to me now?" "I acknowledge you're impressive now. I won't talk to you the way I used to." I did not answer his question. Instead, I told him about my life after leaving. "Damian, do you know something?” "After I left you, I realized that eating slowly doesn't get criticized. You can wear short skirts even if your thighs aren't stick-thin. What I write might not be perfect, but people still read it." Damian seemed to remember something. His face paled inch by inch.

"But...but...you can still save your people. A little token in return is all I ask to seal my lips." "I will send your head back to your Igwe." Ikemefuna beat his chest and groaned like a wounded dog, "We are one. We are fearless. We are, Umu Ejima (children of Ejima), we cried, we shrieked, we screamed and the God of gods answered. Nothing can overcome us, not even the king of Ame." "Umu Ejima you say?" Ume asked. "Haha, you sound surprised." "Because I am" Ume whispered as he tried to place two and two together. "How can that be? I know a woman called Ejima. She never had a child of her own."

Kevin chuckled a little when his mom giggled. “Exactly. It felt like a movie,” President Chang agreed with her son while affectionately tapping his hand. “I still feel like this is a movie after hearing about Operation Nightfall. I can’t believe the world is being attacked by soldiers who aren’t from Earth. This is sh*t you see in sci-fi movies or read about in comic books or something, and you know how much I love comic books.” President Chang looked around at her husband, who was giving her a stare that meant he already knew about his wife’s obsession with comics.

I watched as she wrote a note and then it disappeared into thin air as she chanted ‘mitte’. Magic was amazing and I loved the world we lived in. I just hope to the Goddess above that it didn’t end because of Soren’s war. How devastating would it be to fight for something just to watch all of it die? I didn’t have to wait long and there was a knock on Amarantha’s office door. “Come in,” she called out. The door opened and Ember stepped inside with a smile on her face and her cat at her side. I took in a deep breath of her burnt peach orchard smell and smiled brightly at seeing her again.

A day or so, had passed since that conversation and Alexis spent most of her time holed up, trying to read through the thick books Emilia had left her. The books were more packed than her college books and shortly after her head would be spinning. Terms like, central mana, epidermal mana, mental mana and emotional mana. After a while she had to read through the same pages multiple times, barely grasping an understanding. One of the books, the one on magical creatures was actually interesting. It had long chapters that focused on a single creature, it was packed with their abilities, mental capabilities and even hobbies and preferences with dislikes labeled boldly. Jaden, Melissa, and I were walking through the school halls. It was already lunchtime so we decided to eat outside today. While we walked, Jaden and Melissa were talking about an anime called 'Seven deadly sins'. The anime is really good, and I hope for a second season, but for now, I'm just reading the manga. And let me tell you, the manga is AWESOME!!! Especially when Meliodis is a-, oops, almost spoiled it for you guys. But yeah, the anime is awesome; I totally recommend it for y'all.

Emeridia would become a hub of innovation, attracting visionaries from far and wide who sought to contribute to its vibrant tapestry. In their visions, Aric and Kaida witnessed the transformation of Emeridia's neighborhoods into thriving centers of community engagement. The Heartstone's influence would bring people together, fostering collaboration, and sparking a renaissance of cultural exchange. They saw parks filled with laughter, where residents gathered to share stories, celebrate traditions, and build lifelong friendships. Emeridia's streets would be adorned with vibrant art installations, each piece a testament to the city's creative energy and commitment to self-expression.

[Disclaimer: this chapter contains sexual harassment and possibility of rape] [Hestia] I jogged towards where my towel is to dry my body when I felt someone grab my shoulder. I turned around to see who it is and to my surprise, it was Liam. He's giving me an evil smile, indicating that he's gonna do something bad. My inside is panicking right now, I subtly look around, hoping that Hecate or the others are around. I tried to calm myself, then I gently spoke to him.

“You think the two of us can sneak into that evil kingdom and find the Heart of Magic without getting ourselves killed?” A flash of images from the future shot before her eyes. Nya saw herself riding into Beelzanborg on the dragon’s back, landing in the dark, and infiltrating the castle. She saw the gem in her hand, the dragon in chains, a choice to be made. “Yes,” she said. “I know we can do it.”
