I could not stop thinking while eating dinner with Jannett and Lucas. Lucas knew that Emma and I never spoke after our date, but he never asked why. Today he has several questions about how I kept contact with his sister, and what drove her permanently away from me. He trusts me and I cannot let him down, I decided to tell him the truth because it is the only way to find Emma. “Jannett, can you please pass me Emma’s bag?” as she passed me the bag, I searched for the chain. I picked up the chain and showed Lucas and Jannett the pendant, it was the same symbol I saw on her wrist. The 2 crescents on either side of a full moon meant something.

Before Luke could speak, the woman beside him took a step forward, giving Rebecca a sharp look, full of painful confidence. "My name is Emily," she said, her tone haughty. "I'm the daughter of Alpha Hernandez of the Silvermoon pack. Luke and I felt a very strong mate bond between us during the Bloodmoon festival." ~Later That Month~ ~Hannah’s Point of View~ I make a face and stare at my hand, then shake it and throw it like I’m Spiderman trying to make a web. At long last, the full moon has arrived. And not that I haven’t wanted to believe the Goddess, I definitely have. I mean she’s already been huge with the mind-linking thing. It’s literally been invaluable, more than I could have ever imagined. “And you’re totally sure the shift won’t hurt the baby,” Parker asked Jake, for the fifth time.

Emma endured the agonizing pain, held my hand to pull herself upright, and spoke in a voice that was hoarse but absolute: "I, Emma, of the Silver Moon Pack! I look away from the window and instead sit on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I barely slept because of the strange feeling.

With Ammie standing next to me I begin a speech. “Welcome members of The Sacred Moon Pack.” I begin, “We are here to announce and celebrate our new Luna.” I look over to my mate and smile, “My mate and your Luna, Amethyst Webber.” The people cheered as I kissed her cheek. She looked out over at the people and gave the most brilliant smile I have ever seen.

"Hunting? Is it time for their yearly hunting ritual?" "No. She's just doing it for sports. Clarrise is so cool," he swooned as he spoke. I really don't know what this wimp saw in her. Clarrise was an Alpha female from the Crescent Moon Pack and her blood purity was almost perfect. It is said that the Crescent Moon pack are blessed by the moon goddess, but they still act uncivilized. Always remaining in the mountains and hardly communicating with outsiders. I remember the first time I had met Clarisse as a child and the words she had said to me.
