FALLING FOR MY BEST FRIEND'S FATHER

FALLING FOR MY BEST FRIEND'S FATHER

"But when the fog rolls in off the water at six in the morning, and there's nothing between you and the horizon, no rail, no glass, just open air — it'll be worth it. Some things are worth looking slightly insane for." Emma smiled at her knees. "I know something about that." He made a quiet sound that might have been a laugh. "What are you reading?" He nodded at the paperback beside her. She picked it up, turned it over. The God of Small Things. "It's for a class. World Lit, first semester." "Is it good?"

My Boy Friend Is The Wolf King

My Boy Friend Is The Wolf King

Orianna took Emma into the house, nodding affectionately, and said, "The old man is in the room. I reminded him first, he seemed to be very angry at something. ” Emma looked into the room, yes, and then with Philip entered. Mr. Watson sat on the leather chair, his face completely slumped down. He didn't look happy when Emma returned. He looked at his daughter with scrutiny of eyes, followed by a clear hatred. "Kneel." Emma was startled, before she could speak, he was stopped by his next sentence. “Emma Watson, from the beginning I made it clear to you, no matter where you go, you must think about the reputation of the Watson family. Now that the press is reported, I sleep on the bush with th

Another Chance

Another Chance

She started playing with the edge of her dress as if she were embarrassed, maybe uncomfortable. “How old are you?” I ask. Her head shoots up, startled, then she averted her gaze once again. “Nineteen” she answers after a few seconds. She was a child! Damn, the goddess and her choices. “Blasphemy!” my wolf cautioned yet again in my head. I ignored his comment. “And your surname?” I continued. “Watson. Emily Watson” . Her voice trembled as she spoke each syllable. Her plate was almost the same, the food barely touched. Her eyes were glued on it in an attempt to ignore my presence. I decided to cut to the chase so I would stop making her more uncomfortable.

My Cheating Mate

My Cheating Mate

Back to my empty house, back to my duties as future Alpha, back to a life that no longer included Emma sitting beside my bed every day. The thought made my chest tight. She was reading again, curled up in that uncomfortable hospital chair that she'd spent more hours in than her own bed. Some romance novel with a werewolf on the cover—I'd caught glimpses of the story when she read aloud to me. It was about second chances, about mates who'd been separated and found their way back to each other. I wondered if she'd chosen it deliberately. If she was trying to tell me something, or if she was trying to convince herself that happy endings were possible.

THE WIFE WHO STOLE HIS HEART

THE WIFE WHO STOLE HIS HEART

I whisper back, and Lily nods like she understands exactly what I mean. During reading time, I discovered that Oakwood Academy has more books than I've ever seen in one place. There are books about dolphins and princesses and families from all over the world. When Mrs. Peterson asks us to pick our favorites, I choose three: one about a little girl who saves her family from a scary dragon, one about dolphins who protect their pod from sharks, and one about a grandmother who teaches her granddaughter about magic. "Those are excellent choices, Emma," Mrs. Peterson says. "Do you like to read about families and protecting people?"

The Clandestine Saga

The Clandestine Saga

She wanted to run to Dixon, to help him, but she knew there was nothing she could do for him now, just as there had been nothing she could do for her sister. Watson took several deep breaths and calmed herself the best she could, shaking those memories out of her head. “Focus,” she thought to herself. She might not be able to save Dixon, but there were other people in this hospital who still might be in danger. She pulled herself back to a crouching position, and prepared to round the corner. However, as she did so, she heard some shouting, and though she couldn’t make out the words, they were followed by the sound of hurried footsteps down the hall in the opposite direction. Stepping out fr

Wind Chill

Wind Chill

The force of gravity in the room seemed to suddenly increase, threatening to drag her to the floor. Get over it. You knew damn well this was going to happen. Just . . . move on. She looked over her shoulder to finally take in the rest of the space. Her father’s bed lay inside one of the corners, the mattress a size too small for a man of his height and covered with the same camo blanket that rested on her own. A large bookcase lined one wall, its contents a hodgepodge of classic and paranoid—“Survivalist,” Emma corrected herself—literature. She scanned the titles. Finding Tom Sawyer and The Anarchist’s Cookbook resting beside each other conjured demented scenes of the scamp lobbing improvise

THE HIDDEN SECRETS

THE HIDDEN SECRETS

They have no choice, me as well. "Someone going to throw a big atomic bomb," Emiem whispered to my ears. I nudged her waist and shushed her silently. Natasha, all the while read the book carefully, something hidden expression grew on her face and when I thought to snatch the book from her and decided to explain in detail, the book fell down where she glued on the spot with her eyes widen in horror. "Is..that..true?" She asked, her skin turned like a white shadow. "I thought we are here to catch a monster and go back to our hometown, safely!!" She almost screamed.

The Millionaire's Bride

The Millionaire's Bride

She could give a seafood gumbo her full attention and forget that she spent most nights alone. Reading was Alexa’s other passion. She was a sucker for the classics. There were a handful of stories she read again and again. She’d been devouring the Bronte sisters and Austen since she was eleven. It was the one hobby she and her mother shared. Instead of children’s bedtime stories, her mother read her The Little House on the Prairie books, then Nancy Drew mysteries. Soon after, they had read Little Women and Emma. Once she’d finished her meal, she still had some time to waste before her yoga class and decided to walk. The sun wouldn’t set until after her class began, and she could message Jame

I enjoyed each of the sweet stories. However, I am not sure how the characters of Gabe and Celina in story two became Brian and Leah in story three while all the other characters, including their daughter, kept the same names.

The story in the introduction is Chapters 1-24. Then it’s different stories with new characters (Ch 25-55; 56-84; 85-117). Love how the relationships developed between Alexa & Salvatore / Celina & Gabe / Sara & Ian / Camille & Noah. Love how God, prayer, and faith were emphasized in each story.

Bride in Disguise

Bride in Disguise

Jamie glanced at his master beside him and thought, "Charles said the office is filled with piles of documents, and three waves of high-ranking officials have already arrived. How can you not be busy?” Mr. Windsor, who used to be busy with his work, seemed to have lost focus. "That woman, Lyra, is pregnant with Adrian's child." Natalie brought up Lyra's intentions after they got in the car. She usually enjoyed reading books and keeping up with the news. During their training period, she had learned about the imminent bankruptcy of the Watson Group. The three most profitable sectors of the Watson Group had been acquired by a subsidiary of the RK Group, despite Edwin's attempts to negotiate on
