Sam silently observes the man smiling in front of her. He looks harmless if you only look at his face, seemingly non-threatening and yet, when you look into his eyes you can clearly see the cruelty and the fierceness hidden beneath that façade of his. He is clearly a wolf in sheep’s clothing, ruthless and dangerous. He is clearly smiling and yet in his eyes, he is calm… so calm that there is not a single surge of emotion in his eyes. They are completely void of any emotions.

I could feel all of the anger consuming me. The power was humming out of control. My eyes dried instantly and than I felt nothing. Emptiness, all consuming emptiness. As I stood up and walked to my mirror, All that was in my head was the the click clack of my heels. As I got to the mirror still nothing. Looking at myself, all I could see was the void emptiness in my eyes. They weren't green anymore. Just a dark blue.

She was awake. For the umpteenth time, she made it back to us. But why the hell did she feel so strange? I looked into those eyes, and the first thing I saw was the numbing void that made me want to punch someone next to me. Her eyes always carried life, a whole different vibe that drew you in by just staring at them. All in my life, I have never seen them looking so lifeless, so void of any emotions. I felt that crippling anger boiling from the deepest pits of my being, ready to spill and wreak havoc on anything in my vicinity.

Why did it look like he was pulling away? Panic set in and her heart pounded. Then she confirmed her suspicion when he turned and regarded her with cold, emotionless eyes. “It would be best if you order a bath and await me downstairs. I shall like to leave as early as possible.” Emily listened to him dish out those cold, emotionless words out of his mouth and wanted to cry. It was as if what they did here was nothing. He didn't seem affected in any way. Her beautiful oval face scrunched up immediately, and she fought back tears, refusing to look at him.

It’s all a façade…’ For a second, a sliver of guilt and pity rushes through me as I stare into his eyes which are devoid of life and all human emotion, save hatred and anger…

I forgot I was wearing three-inch heels that were slowly crippling my toes. He was gorgeous in the way a natural disaster is gorgeous. A tsunami. A wildfire. Something that destroys everything in its path but is impossible to look away from. His hair was dark, cropped short military-style, emphasizing the harsh geometry of his face. His jawline looked like it had been hewn from granite, his nose straight and aristocratic, and his lips were set in a line that suggested he rarely smiled and never meant it. But it was his eyes. They were a cold, piercing grey. Dead eyes. Eyes that had seen things and hadn't blinked. Eyes that evaluated threats in milliseconds and dismissed them just as fast.

His eyes are on the beautiful sight infront of him , but he is not looking at it or admiring it . His face is emotionless , pale , shrink in weakness , eyes has dark circles , while his lips are dry and dead skin is covering them .. giving them more rough and dry look . His blue eyes are shining due to lights reflection but they are looking dead .. his eyes are filled in longing for something or someone. His mind is occupied in his ex-wife's thoughts ... flashback of his past flashing in his dead eyes . A tear slipped out from his left eye but he didn't broke down in sobs .

There’s a masculine quality to his physique that can’t be hidden even by his black trousers and the long-sleeved T-shirt. Even In the middle of this freezing night, his arm muscles bulge from the material with no hint of goosebumps or discomfort, as if he were born like that. They say people’s eyes usually brighten with emotions, any type. Even grief makes them shine with tears, unsaid words, and unalterable regrets. His, however, are as dim as the night and just as dark. He barely reacts to fear… excitement or even angst.

And that's the most unnerving part of it all. The man dark eyes flicker toward her. There's still no emotion behind them, just a cold, detached calculation, like he's assessing a tool that's grown dull or a pet that's forgotten its place. He shows no pity or regret or even anger, just indifference that cuts deeper than his rage ever could.
