He simply pushed his hair back from his forehead with a slow, chillingly calm movement of his hand. When his steel-blue eyes finally locked back onto mine, they were completely dead. There was no warmth, no passion, no possessive fire, and absolutely no regret. It was like I was looking into the eyes of a glacier, an unyielding, terrifying abyss of absolute cold.
