My Ex-Husband Wants Me Back

My Ex-Husband Wants Me Back

"One for Mommy, one for Ember." She had already started dividing the gifts. Charlotte looked at Griffith with satisfaction, raising her chin proudly. See! Griffith took her hand and sat on the sofa, facing their daughter, who was still dividing the gifts. Suddenly, the little one's hands stopped moving, and she looked up, blinking her big eyes at Griffith. Charlotte was puzzled and leaned over to look at the gifts, instantly understanding. It was all Griffith's fault. Ember was four years old, yet he still used the same tricks when giving gifts. Every time he returned from a business trip, he would bring back beautiful 'stones,' which used to be only for Charlotte. But recently, Ember also r

BETRAYED BY THE BILLIONAIRE, CROWNED BY FATE

BETRAYED BY THE BILLIONAIRE, CROWNED BY FATE

The accurate description of grief and complicated love from a four-year-old leaves everyone speechless. "Sophie," Dr. Chen says gently, "how do you know what people are feeling?" "The same way I know what numbers want to do when they dance together. It's just there in my head." Agent Rodriguez turns to Aria. "Dr. Vale, your daughter has empathic abilities along with her intellectual gifts." "What does that mean?" "It means she can read people's emotional states, possibly even their intentions." "Which makes her invaluable for intelligence work," Director Walsh adds.

The Millionaire's Bride

The Millionaire's Bride

“I’m fine, sweetie. I’m just really happy that Gabe gave us these sweet gifts.” He’d bought her the one thing she wanted for herself but couldn’t afford. It was just a thing, made of wood and strings and plastic, but it was the thought that had her heart blooming. To add to his kindness, he’d given Emma one too so she wouldn’t be left out. Now, they could all play together, as a family.

I enjoyed each of the sweet stories. However, I am not sure how the characters of Gabe and Celina in story two became Brian and Leah in story three while all the other characters, including their daughter, kept the same names.

The story in the introduction is Chapters 1-24. Then it’s different stories with new characters (Ch 25-55; 56-84; 85-117). Love how the relationships developed between Alexa & Salvatore / Celina & Gabe / Sara & Ian / Camille & Noah. Love how God, prayer, and faith were emphasized in each story.

War of Threes

War of Threes

We split the gifts into five main groups: emotional/mental, physical, strategic, leadership, and health. The emotional/mental abilities consist of wolves that can control the emotions of others, like Devin and Gael, or can control others, like Zak. Karamea’s gift of humor and implicit trust also fit here. There are also wolves that can plant ideas in others’ heads or make them forget that they saw something. There are wolves that can read minds and those that can act as puppet masters, causing wolves to say or do things at will. The wolves with physical gifts are able to manipulate the physical world. These can be as mundane as being an excellent cook or growing the most delicious crops

ECHOES OF THE PAST

ECHOES OF THE PAST

The second note was addressed "To empathic kids who can't stop feeling": "If you're reading this, you're probably drowning too. Feeling too much, sensing too many people, unable to turn off the constant emotional flood. I want you to know something important: your life is more valuable than your abilities. Everyone will tell you that your gifts are special, that empathy is precious, that you should learn to manage your perception. They're not wrong, but they're not entirely right either. Sometimes abilities can't be managed. Sometimes they're just too strong.

Ecstasy (Exclusively The CEO'S)

Ecstasy (Exclusively The CEO'S)

It was an Empire World model, adorned with the EW logo. "Awwwn." Her lips curled up into a cute smile. She was genuinely thrilled and grateful. She leaned forward and hugged Joel. He froze in place. "Kumawoyo" Emily broke away from the hug after a while and stared at the phone. "I have never really received any gift from someone that’s not my family." Tears brimmed down her face. Joel stared dumbfoundedly at her. She had never received gifts from anyone? How weird. "I'll use it well, good night." Emily stood up, turned around and skipped to her room.

Mated To The Cursed Alpha

"Elena, think about it. My pack. they will might not take you in easily. Almost all been taught to be afraid of Empaths their whole lives." "Then it's time they learned the difference between the Empaths they were taught and the Empath sitting in front of them." Mira stands up and walks to a cabinet I've never known her touch. "If you're so determined to do this, you'll need these." She returns with a small leather pouch warm to the touch when she hands it to me. "Bones that will ground your empathic senses if you become too overwrought," she indicates. "And this." She produces a small crystal pendant on a silver chain. "It will root your consciousness if the pack's herd feels are going to s

Alpha Cole's Inferno

Alpha Cole's Inferno

Raine held my palms, now this couldn't be good if she felt I needed emotional support in form of physical touch. "Prophets tend to exhibit some 'mischievous' tendencies when they feel abandoned. Your gift comes from the mind, and you should be given emotional attention as long as you live." What? Prophets? I had never given a name to what my gift had made me. She continued. "The moment you start feeling lonely, you go out of control and keep getting into one problem or the other. And it is worse when you attach yourself emotionally to someone and they...you feel they have abandoned you."

Single Dad Alpha

Single Dad Alpha

These orphans were attention-starved, and she could very well be the first person in their lives to provide them with such affection and attention. “I can’t give you Emily time because it means not being able to look after everyone. Many things could happen during Emily Time, such as an accident in the bath or even the kitchen catching fire. How about this? I can make some Emily Vouchers that can be exchanged for certain priorities. For example, an Emily Voucher can be used to exchange seats during documentary time with your brother so you can cuddle with me. When someone uses an Emily Voucher, nobody else can use it until the next round. Is it fair?”

Petty Gifts, Big Payback

Petty Gifts, Big Payback

Three years, and Gavin was still the same arrogant, self-obsessed jerk. I didn't say a word. He had no clue I was here to take his company. Right after he swaggered inside, a janitor jogged over and grabbed the bag from me. "Sorry, Ms. Valencia—I didn't mean to be late." She'd asked me to bring bottles for some summit promo—trade enough, win a limited-edition rocket for her grandson. When she saw the haul, her face lit up. "Thank you! You just made his dream come true."
