Amara’s POV The next morning, I dragged myself to school, dreading another encounter with the triplets. The air outside was crisp, but the chill I felt came from within. Memories of their betrayal and the spell that now enslaved them haunted me, leaving my heart heavy. As I walked through the school hallways, I felt the weight of their presence before I even saw them. Ryder, Jaxon, and Caden stood near the lockers, their once-bright eyes now dull and distant. They looked like shadows of themselves—cold, unfeeling, and utterly detached.

And now, standing in the heart of the palace that had once been my home, I had come to fulfill that purpose. I quickly glanced over my shoulder at my uncle, Alpha Enoch. His eyes met mine with a grave understanding. “I’m going to find the triplets, we would need them to access the other grounds,” he said, his voice low and urgent. “You take care of yourself.” He didn’t need to say more. Please don’t shout at him. He’s still your big brother.” Luna pouted, but she nodded and realized her mistake. Celeste kissed both of her arguing children.
