Heath was captivated. Heath stayed spellbound throughout the meeting that night. He listened as each Horseman described in captivating detail how he believed the world would end. Each Horseman had a different opinion about the events which would end the reign of humankind on the planet. Yet, they were all in agreement; Earth had one hundred years left to its existence, at best. Mankind would end. The precious and exalted Mother Earth would start over; without human interference. She would remain.

When they were about to exit the alley, the guard who had full, pale lips and big, brown, round eyes spoke. “There are three of those creatures -” “Tyronimics, that's what they're called.” “Those tyr - tyronimics. There are three of them. I saw them with their monstrous heads before I came into the chamber to warn you all, and I saw them again, also, when we all ran in here. This is Armageddon, the apocalypse! The world is coming to an end.” With that, he went on his knees in a dramatic way - the centre of attention.

The sanctuary grew still. The floating memories above them flickered. Ancient worlds appeared. Worlds they had already seen. Worlds that had fallen. Worlds consumed by darkness. Worlds erased. Then more appeared. Hundreds. Thousands. Millions. The images stretched endlessly. A vast graveyard of forgotten civilizations. The scale was horrifying. Orion pointed toward them. "The End doesn't destroy worlds immediately." The memories shifted. Showing civilizations thriving. Growing. Prospering. Then changing. Slowly. Subtly.

she continued, “there’s this sound. Not thundering, something far worse. Like the sky is breaking. People start screaming. Some run, others freeze. Buildings begin to shake, then topple. Now you’re caught in the middle of chaos. You can’t find shelter. The earth shakes beneath your feet, lightning splits the sky, and the sun and the moon both go dark. You can’t even remember the last time you saw real sunlight. The world feels like it’s ending.” A long silence. Calvin’s breathing was slower now, measured. Finally, he opened his eyes. “Do you believe in the apocalypse?”

It was a **Pulse**. Elara knelt, pressing her palm to the black lilies. Her violet eyes flared. "The Countdown," she whispered. "It’s accelerating. The 'Final Format' has reached the base of the mountains. The world outside is being deleted in real-time." She looked out over the cliff. Beyond their border, the forest was gone. In its place was a vast, terrifying **White Void**. The world was being eaten by a blank screen, and the Iron Mountain was the last island left in a sea of nothingness.

They said not to worry. They were wrong. The light was not the sun. It was not any sun. It was the end. The final pulse. The last thing anyone would ever see. I looked at my phone again. The screen was dimming. The battery was full, but the display was fading, as if the light outside was too much for it to compete with. I tried one more call. This time, a different voice. A man, calm, professional, recorded. "This is an emergency broadcast. There is no shelter. There is no escape. What you are seeing is the termination of the planetary electromagnetic field. The light will continue to intensify until all matter becomes transparent. Do not panic. There is nothing to be done. Goodbye."

Millions of them. And on every door, there was a date: March 30, 2026. "Every door is the same day," Kael whispered, looking out the window. "It’s a graveyard of the same twenty-four hours." The taxi screeched to a halt in front of a door painted a bright, violent red. The woman in the front seat turned around, her face reflecting the flickering lights of the hallway. "This is the door Julian never opened," she said. "Because on the other side of this door, the crash doesn't happen. But the world still ends."

Callie's eyes widened in incredulity. "The apocalypse?" "Armageddon, Ragnarok, and whatever you want to call it." "And two ghosts–" He corrected. "Witnesses." "–are a sign that the world is going to end?" "It’s the first sign. There will be others." "Like?" "War, famine, plague, death," he listed off. "The Four Horsemen of the apocalypse will come and wreak havoc while we’re powerless to stop it."

In the end, he bent down and scooped Chloe up into his arms. As he passed by the bodyguards, his voice shook ever so slightly as he ordered, “No matter what, you must get Nora out for me! She hasn’t given Chloe her bone marrow yet. She can’t die!” Outside the hospital emergency room, Elijah and Tyler paced back and forth restlessly. Their phones rang continuously, but they kept cutting the calls. After an agonizingly long wait, several of their men rushed over, completely out of breath. “Mr. York, Mr. Benson… the house… It’s been burned down to nothing but a charred frame. The young miss… Miss Benson, she… All we found is a single, badly burned corpse.”
