The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

Either that or the guy just wanted to be an ass. At the end of the dark tunnel, I saw a bright light illuminating the entrance, and when I thought about it, it gave me a sense of doom. The stories that people describe about a light at the end of the tunnel, before they meet the moon goddess, seemed a believable notion at this moment. I took a deep breath, not because I was scared. Far from it. It was more the anticipation of what I would find at the end of the tunnel. In truth, I was pretty curious, despite my situation, about where I was and what was in for.

Traci Williams
There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Sealed In Darkness

Sealed In Darkness

He turned, noticing the wendigo was almost breaking through the purple barricade, and without hesitation he closed the door, locking it from the inside, and began journeying down the dark tunnel, which turned from dusty to damp and wet. The tunnel bega to glow as he went deep enough, bioluminescent insect, and creepy crawleys gave off a bright glow of yellow-green light. He had been running for hours, so he stopped when he thought the threat beyond the door could never get to him -when he thought he was safe -and began walking, carefully looking around, and analysing where he was. After what seems like days of walking and running as led by his adrenaline, he could finally see it, the light a

The Lycan’s Tribute: Claimed By My Foster Brothers

he said, "they're not, but don't touch them. Don't look at their faces more than you have to. Just keep moving." I kept moving and I kept my eyes forward and I focused on the far end of the chamber and tried not to count how many there were. I counted anyway. I couldn't help it. I stopped counting at thirty. There was an opening at the far end. Natural, not carved, the rock simply parting, and through it came light that was not torch light and not the symbol glow and not anything I'd seen since we walked through the archway. That light that appears at the end of a tunnel.

Never Again, Alpha

Never Again, Alpha

My voice heightened slightly when I saw the light. "You never will get where you're going." I continued drawing closer to the light, until it illuminated the entire tunnel around me. I could now see that the rough concrete had smoothed out into a dark marble. There were no creases between the wall or flooring, and it seemed as if the tunnel was never ending. Yet with the light illuminating the darkness, I saw a wide opening just feet in front of me. As I approached the sudden opening, I whispered my last words of comfort.

A Mix Of Two Worlds

A Mix Of Two Worlds

Rina shouted. The group sprinted toward the light, their shadows stretching long behind them. The passage closed in as soon as they passed through, the stones sealing tight like a wound closing shut. By the time the last of them burst into the open, the entire tunnel collapsed with a thunderous boom, leaving only silence in its wake. They stumbled into the sunlight, gasping, blinking against the sudden brightness. Before them stretched a wide plain, green and vast, the sky above clear and endless. The air smelled of grass and wind, not dust and death.

The End of Running

The End of Running

I say and open a portal to the bunker for them. The bunker has no doors or windows only a few pockets for air flow. I did it on purpose so nobody can find it. Both of the twins hug and give me a kiss before they step through the portal. Once they go through, I close the portal and walk to the western border and stand right in front of the wolves. The twins are going to be pissed when they realize what I’m doing but I need to get these wolves away from our home until we can leave.

Frequently Asked Questions

The novel 'At the End of the Tunnel' was written by Argentinian author Claudia Piñeiro, who's become one of my favorite crime fiction writers over the years. Her storytelling has this gritty realism mixed with psychological depth that reminds me of Patricia Highsmith's work but with distinctly Latin American flavor.

What's fascinating about Piñeiro is how she blends social commentary with page-turning plots—her books often explore class tensions in Buenos Aires through morally ambiguous characters. I stumbled upon her work after reading 'Thursday Night Widows' and immediately binge-read everything translated into English. Her ability to make suburban crime feel both intimate and epic still blows my mind.
