Hey everyone! This is the end of Book 2 - His Deadly Mate and the beginning of Book 3 - His Clever Mate. Book 2 left with open storylines on purpose. These will be resolved between books 3 and 4. I hope everyone enjoys and leave me comments. I do love reading them! *winks*

A broken scream tore from my throat. “Mom!” The flesh on my hands was shredded. Even that pain was nothing compared to the pain in my heart. Memories of all the sweet moments I once shared with Suzanna flashed through my mind. Regret and hatred twisted inside me until I coughed up blood and collapsed. As my consciousness faded, I whispered, “Suzanna, from this moment on, we mean nothing to each other anymore.”

I guess that true love stories never have endings after all. Dean took my hand in his and interlocked our fingers as the flight attendant announced that the plane was about to take off. Inside the ancient observatory. The young man stood. "We are drifting." His calm voice echoed through the chamber. "Our purpose has remained unchanged since before the First Dawn." He placed one hand upon the blank book. "If every story continues forever..." "...then none of them truly end." The old man looked at him kindly. "And if every story ends too soon..." "...none of them truly live." Silence. The child turned another page. Words appeared. Not written by any hand. Only one question. "What is an ending for?"

A thing with a location was a thing you could bear to wait for. He finished the book. He closed it. He sat with the quality of having finished something, which was not the same as the quality of having ended something. Finishing was completed. The ending was a loss. The therapy would be an ending, and he would hold it as an ending, with all the weight that endings deserved. But the after—the after was not an ending. The after was a different kind of thing.

Yummy this was good as hell. "no that is each book but this last one is a cliff hanger and the last book. It ends with the death of a main character and I may lose money from this but if it does well I will probably make over two million",I look embarrassed as they all stared at me but holy shit were they impressed by the news. I held in a giggle as I kept eating while we talked. "why did you end it?", Dean asked wanting to know I guess he looked intrigued.
