Entrance Blackrock Depths Novels & Stories

The hidden passage was colder than the mansion. As the stone door slid shut behind them, the sounds of the outside world disappeared completely. Only silence remained. Ancient. Heavy. Patient. Soft lights embedded in the walls flickered on one after another, illuminating a narrow corridor carved directly into the bedrock beneath Blackwood Island. Elena's eyes swept across every detail. No dust. No cobwebs. No signs of decay. Someone had designed this place to survive generations. Adrian ran his fingers lightly over the stone wall.

“You didn’t. So we will.” We lowered the first sensor. It slipped beneath the rim with a soft chime. The line trembled steadily, then not. The old runes warmed under my palm. I pressed harder. This stone would learn my shape now. “Depth?” Marcus asked. “Seventy-two. Bottom,” Garron’s tech called. The speaker crackled, then found voices many, patient, rehearsed. “…vessels… marrow… devotions accounted…” Bile rose. Garron swore softly.

During daylight, I had found the deepest water to safely plunge into but hadn’t anticipated how black the sea would be at night. While checking the stability of the stones beneath my feet I stepped out on the ledge. Visibility increased with the light of dawn. Quickening my forward progress, I finally reached the edge and looked into the black waves below. In the daytime, the water was so clear that rocks beneath the surface were apparent. Their location obvious. I recalled that I needed to propel outward about fifteen feet to avoid collision.

How has she not sensed me yet? I watch as she continues dancing, swaying her hips, and twisting her arms above her head. I’m captivated. She takes a step towards the center of the pond. No! This is called Black Hole Pond because it goes from incredibly shallow to indescribably deep without any warning. She falls in and I watch, in shock, as she thrashes and splashes underneath the water, before suddenly, the water stills.

I find a table in the very back corner, tucked behind a big stone pillar. It’s perfect. It’s dark. It’s invisible. I sit down and open my book—a worn copy of Theoretical Astrophysics. I hide the cover behind a paper bag. If people knew the creepy janitor was reading about black holes, they’d only find a new way to mock me. I take a bite of my apple, my eyes scanning the room. Across the hall, the Knights' table is a scream of noise and gold. They sit in the middle, lit up by the tall gothic windows. Alan Voss is at the head of the table, looking like a king carved out of ice and ink.

The strong and wild spiritual energy made them close their eyes subconsciously! When they reopened their eyes, they saw a huge black whirlpool in front of them. It was about a hundred meters wide, and it looked like a massive black hole! Gasp! When they saw the huge whirlpool, the crowd was baffled. They gasped! “This—” “This is the black hole, the ancient tomb’s entrance!” “The entrance! This is the entrance to the ancient tomb! Quick! Get in!” Many of them exclaimed as someone else yelled. Then, some people scrambled into the whirlpool!

A forty-foot wall of toxic, pitch-black water does not roar; it consumes all sound, creating a localized vacuum of deafening, vibrating silence just before impact. Ren stood alone on the shattered, petrified shoreline of the Black Lake. The frantic screams of the deep-dwellers scrambling up the ancient, colossal skeleton behind him faded into background static. His abyssal black eyes, swirling with bioluminescent blue sparks, locked onto the incoming wave. He didn't see a tidal wave of death. His Scribe interface, forcefully rebooting through the haze of the Leviathan’s hunger, saw a fluid dynamics equation waiting to be balanced.

Silas, whose hands trembled while he kept his pad to be served. “Toxic values outside are astronotic. But we have ground contact. Depth: Six thousand two hundred meters.” I switched the big front lights to maximum. The light cut through the swirled mud and revealed our goal. Direct before us the generators of the last tides were raised. It wasn't easy Machine. It was an architectural monstrum of the Old World – a complex of size of a skyscraper, made from titanium and glass, encrusted with centuries

The other group is directed by Captain Stan to go up to the 8th floor of the building. Inside the apartment, Jade and 3 others are sitting on a glass dining table. They ate and chatted happily with each other. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door from outside. She went to the door and said from inside: “Who is it?” The man's voice outside: “I am the management of the building; there is something I need to discuss with you.”

“It was choosing a door.” Every lantern in the council hall went out. At the exact same moment, a deafening crack echoed from somewhere deep beneath Blackthorn Mountain. Not a heartbeat. Not thunder. Stone breaking. Something ancient had just opened.
