The Beta's Daughter
I was encompassed by moonlight and glittering stars, and I let my soul guide me.
As our hands touched, we wrapped our fingers together, palms together, letting the blood drip down between us. There was a shock of purple light, and gossamer thin strands of amethyst light began to spin, slowly at first, winding around our joined hands and binding us together. They sped up as we watched, working in intricate, twisting patterns that rose to the tips of our fingers and dropped down to below our wrists.
