Love and Letters: Dina & David's Story

This girl better watch her back.
I could not get away any faster than I do from that class. David is waiting for me outside in the parking lot. My breath catches at the sight of him, as usual. I would never think of guys as a porcelain doll, but that’s what he reminds me of. Flawless and beautiful, with red lips as soft as they look, and bright, dark eyes. But unlike the doll, David is not in any way fragile. He’s been through so much emotionally, and yet he’s still here, good and kind. David's even willing to forgive someone like me and be with me. He’s a million times a better person than I am.
