Ethan stood alone in the underground chamber—no windows, just stone walls and silence thick as smoke. The air carried the faint scent of gun oil and sweat. Red light bathed the room in a low ominous glow, the single bulb above him swaying slightly as if the building itself sensed the shift that was about to occur. He pressed a button on the table and leaned forward. A mechanical groan echoed through the room as hidden doors slid open on either side. One by one, they came in—Morelli’s ghosts. Men cloaked in black, faces hidden behind charcoal masks.

I didn't want to watch that unravel in front my eyes. While I quickly scuttle to my room, I find Ethel in the hallway. "Thank heavens I have found you. I have been looking for you." Ethel mutters gaining my attention. "There is something I think that might help." she pulled me to Evanna's study which was just at the end of the hallway. "Here," Ethel pointed at the covered big book with a golden cover. "Do you think it can help me locate the stone?" I ask anxiously. "I think so. This book has been with Evanna for as long as I know and I think it can help." she pursues her lips.

"John?" "I don't know for how long but Walter John Wilson had been using his middle name for a while. Anyway, he recognized me but didn't let on. He did his best to sell me a house he owned that was full of termites. He also offered Crystal to me as a toy while escrow closed. The different stages of the lunar cycle are carved along the stone walls.
