Dante held me as if I might vanish, but I no longer had the strength to push him away. Professor Shaw came to my side. “Aria, can you hear me?” I looked at her through the blur. “My baby…” Her expression changed, but her voice stayed steady. “We’re taking you to the institute medical center now.” As they lifted me onto the stretcher, Dante tried to follow. Professor Shaw stopped him with one look. “You had your chance to protect her.” The last thing I saw before darkness took me was Dante standing in the hall, covered in my blood, while the wedding ring box lay open at his feet.

And she almost saved me from the luck that, in the end, fell on me and that despite everything, she has now brought me to this confession, when I finally look at the face of death. I know i can count on you, my brave princess. This is the point where I say don't trust anyone, not even the people that hung around mamá and papà. Trust yourself. There's a safe box in.......... This place was scattered cause he was probably looking for something that'd be of aid to me, Martina and mamá but unfortunately she died too. He stopped writing and also signed in the time cause that was when the invaders came in.

And maybe, I didn't need him at all. As I came to this realization, my soul turned transparent and began to fade away. Zack panicked instantly. He desperately tried to hold onto me, but it was no use. Before my last trace of consciousness faded away, I said, "Let's not meet again in our next life, Zack."

After leaving a letter, she ended her life with the same combination of alcohol and cephalosporin. When I returned to Cheria, I retrieved the letter from the police. Opening it, I found a brief note of apology and well-wishes. “I’m sorry, Lee. I was wrong before. I hope... you’ll be happy. Congratulations on your wedding. If there’s a next life, let me be the one to pursue you.” ‘If there’s a next life, let’s not meet again, Jennifer,’ I said inwardly.
