Meg finally looked at him, something she had avoided since he surprised her crying. There was a different gleam in his eye, a gleam she couldn't decipher.
As they twirled around the garden, their bodies glued to the sound of the melody and the moonlight, Meg wished that moment would never end, it seemed like the perfect setting.
They looked at each other and the music stopped. There were no more sounds, no more voices, there was nothing, just them. But Meg was sure she could hear his heartbeat, which increased with each passing second.
