The Haven Of Shadows

The Haven Of Shadows

But neither of us asked what he meant because some answers still needed time. Evening arrived wrapped in shades of amber and violet. Dinner was served outside again. Someone started telling old stories. Koa exaggerated every one of his. Lucien corrected each exaggeration. Esme declared both versions entertaining. Ragnar eventually admitted that one of Koa's impossible tales had actually happened. No one believed him. Not even Koa. Zenith rested comfortably beside me, one hand absentmindedly stroking the curve of her stomach while Elysia excitedly explained all the responsibilities of becoming an older sister. "...and I'll teach the baby how to climb trees."

he said, shaking his head. “Exceptionally so,” I grinned. I nestled into his side. “Now,” I continued, lifting a finger in warning, “tell me one of your grandmother’s stories, but not one that involves a tortoise.” His brows lifted, mock-offended. “What do you have against tortoises?” “They’ve had enough airtime. I swear, if I hear one more story about a clever tortoise outsmarting everyone, I'll cut off my ears.” He gasped dramatically. “Tortoises are wise creatures!”

As The Petal Falls

“What stories?” “Well, um, you told…Geneva told them to me. The first tale was about a fairy that fell in love with a human. However, this human craved jewels and treasure and did not care about this fragile fairy. So, he persuaded the fairy to lead him to all the fairies’ riches. He stole it and never looked back, while the fairy, in her own heartbreak and guilt, lay down upon a white lily…closed her eyes and never opened them again.” “That’s awful,” said Grace.

Becoming the Elf King's bride

Becoming the Elf King's bride

Who knew the kind of tale Prince Ron would spin this time? “Listen well everyone.” Prince Ron grinned excitedly then began, his emerald eyes twinkling with mischief. “Once upon a time, in a kingdom about two weeks’ journey from here, there lived a dashing, courageous Prince. He was handsome and tall, a legend—feared by his enemies and adored by his people. This brave Prince had faced dragons, stared down storms, and even punched a bear square in the jaw. I’m telling you, this Prince was fearless! One time, he rescued a princess from a ferocious tiger. Another time, he wrestled a giant python and won. Everyone sang songs about him—epic ballads that echoed across mountains and seas. Royals eve

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

Heading upstairs, she made a detour to Lemon's room. It was already late, and the kids would usually be asleep by now. Mable gently pushed the door open and saw Nicki and Spike sitting on either side of the bed, telling Little Lemon a bedtime story and coaxing her to sleep. "The big bad wolf caught Little Red Riding Hood and wanted to eat her, but Little Red Riding Hood was clever. She told the big bad wolf that her house had many little lambs, and she was willing to take him there. The big bad wolf, greedy and arrogant, believed Little Red Riding Hood and followed her."

I was reading this story on HeyNovel but it was called Mr. Goodwin, Your Ex-wife is a stunner and have different character names. The story is good but stopped updating at chapter 300. Excited that I found it here and looking forward to continuing the story.

I absolutely LOVE this story! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I have been unable to put my phone down since I started reading it. I do have one complaint, though...I wish the author would do some proof reading before posting the chapters onto this app because there are quite a few typos

Bad Girl Reborn

She said slowly, "Well, stories should be longer, more intricate, and a bit more fantastical. You know, like 'The Ugly Duckling,' 'The Little Mermaid,' and 'The Three Little Pigs.' Kids love those kinds of stories." John's face revealed a hint of bewilderment. "What are 'The Little Mermaid' and 'The Three Little Pigs'?" "You haven't heard of fairy tales?!" Diana was astonished. How could someone like John, a genius CEO who spoke eight languages fluently and became a CEO at twenty, not know about such widely known stories?! John confessed, "Never heard of them." A barely perceptible shade of melancholy passed through his eyes. He hadn't had a normal childhood, so he hadn't heard any fairy tal

"I think all places have horror stories for kids, guys." Naoki chuckled. "Why don't we exchange them to pass the time?" "Sure," Jai smirked. He ransacked his brain to remember every single fairy tales he got from his previous life. The Grimms, the Andersens, and else he got from his Japanese friend. A big smile came to his face as he had decided on what to share. "I got some masterpieces to tell." "We can only squeeze in one story for each of us, Jai. Don't take my turn," Darrion protested, crossing his hands on his chest and lifting himself off the ground. The blonde floatee about a feet off the ground and stayed like that.

"Then how do you know what she looks like?" Bailey smiled as she looked down and then back into my eyes, wrapping her arms around her knees. "That's right. I forgot that you haven't heard the stories." A crease formed between my eyes. "What stories?" She shrugged. "The stories of our people." She sighed as she looked out over the stones but saw a time long ago, a time far away. "Long ago, two children were walking in the forest. Night fell, and they became lost. A black wolf came, and the children shivered, sure that they were about to become a meal for the black wolf. But then a huge white wolf came and scared off the black wolf. When he was gone and the children were safe, the white wolf t

"Wait! You mean that child was fond of telling . . . stories? Like fairytales?" "Bingo! Apparently, her mother loved to tell her fairytales, love stories and happy endings. It's the typical childhood days. The child obviously fell in love with the concept of fairytales that she couldn't help but brag about it everyday. She even went as far as to imagine she was the princess in a Cinderella story while her parents were her fairy god parents—"
