The Exiled Dragon
Scuffling claws in the dirt, yells of dragons ordering each other to take flight, some shifting in the central clearing.
I threw my legs up, my feet settled on top of the desk, fragments of dirt landing on the desk. Adam was meticulously clean, parchments filed away, his desk filled with trinkets of gold and precious gems. Something about a dragon being so enthralled with the sparkles had me chuckle darkly. They would do anything for a gem or two, have the prettiest things in their possession. Anything considered ugly was cast away, including the specific hideous dragon that had eaten Enoch.
