As soon as I step back out, I mark the entrance with an X and move on. Heading back in the direction we came from, I gasp when I hear the sound of scurrying feet. I’m not the kind of person who is usually scared of bugs or creepy crawlies, but the sound is so loud that I freak out and flatten my back against the wall. First it was hide and seek, then it was never have i ever, which got them drunk enough to start playing truth or dare. "Kyle!" Steve yelled. Kyle was half through a sip of energy drink and vodka. "Truth." He said after. Steve wrinkled his nose. "Nevermind. who wants a dare?" He asked and Becca's hand shot up. She wasn't nearly as wasted as the others because she really hasn't done anything too exciting. While they took shots for skateboard tricks they've done and relationships they've been in, Becca sat quietly. This was Becca's game. She loved dares and her friends were pretty good at giving them. She would usually go through with every dare, and had a pretty hot streak going.

And so, with these dark thoughts rolling through my mind, I find myself at the entrance of a cave that would lead me down to the pits of hell. I step forward with trepidation, my footsteps echoing around the cavernous room. The distant cries of tortured screams found me in the dark sending a shiver up my spine. I had never been to a place where there was so much evil saturated into to one place before. Even being around Lucifer didn’t turn my blood as cold as this place.

I saw no faces, but a child crying so loud from a distance that do brushed my eardrum. Was this connected to the past I knew nothing about? I swallowed the heavy load in my throat, reached for the table clock on my table, then I dropped it back on the stool. It is morning already. I flicked off the blanket from me and rose up from the bed. I relieved this with music or exercise.
