An Unexpected Summer

I sighed, stripped out of his tee, jumped in a quick shower and got ready for bed. I climbed in, staring at the ceiling. I glance over at the space next to me. It is strange to see it empty since Kyson is usually there. I want to know what his issue is! I am confused with the entire thing. Maybe my ex showing up has something to do with it, perhaps he doesn’t want the drama, and I wouldn’t blame him.
I need to get out of my head. I occupy my brain with ideas for my book, something I plan on working on tomorrow. It is a good distraction. I am disturbed by my phone beeping. I pick it up to check it and see a text from Kyson.
