Rosa asked. Jack shook his head. "To a man-made poison? Sure but, one laced with magic or under supernatural circumstances, it's possible. The Makkari is a royalty, immortal but, that doesn't make them indestructible." Jack twists the cap of the vial and pour the contents onto his tongue. Rosa felt nauseous while Ayara stared at her intently. Jack growled for a while and his eyes were closed when he does it. In split seconds, his eyes open and it flickers from the color blue and red. A slit took over his eyes and his face turns into an angry vampire but this time, his features are much more monstrous-like.

He tenderly brought her hand to his mouth and gently kissed it. Pain seared through my body as my eyes lost focus. The faces of my family blurred until I could no longer see them. I tried to move my arms to rub my eyes, but I was unable to move. Panic set in as I began to struggle. Finally, opening my eyes, James Cooper’s face came into focus.

I smirk, "more like my mates. Plural Jack. They're quite territorial you know?" He gawps, "two? Mates? That's just a legend!" He gasps. I shake my head, "no legend." I move my neck from side to side and show him the marks. Jack's face pales and he swallows with a nod, "lets just get this done so I can go back to my pack." After shifting into our wolves, we start circling. Jack is a big black wolf with a white flash across his tail, and piercing blue eyes; not beautiful, but freaky. It doesn't go with his wolf or his nature.

After a while Jack's hand started to ache so he switched his hand still admiring Alice. The movement while exhanging the hands woke Alice up from her sleep. She slowly opened her eyes and saw a hand in front. She followed the hand to see it's owner only to meet the the ocean like eyes of Jack. No one parted the eye contact. They both were checking rather than admiring each other. Checking what the other person was thinking of, checking how their hearts reacted when they were close and checking whether this was a reality or just their minds playing games with them. At this moment, Jack had his eyes lightly closed, and his thick and long eyelashes were like two small fans, casting two shadows on his eyelids. Do men also have such long eyelashes?
