Edward leaned back slowly, studying me in a way that made my skin prickle. “I want to hear what really happened.” I swallowed hard. “It’s already clear that Sabina doesn’t like me.” “I know Sabina,” he said firmly. “She wouldn’t push someone down the stairs without a powerful reason. Sabrian only caressed her baby bump in response while a thoughtful expression clouded her features. Silence ensued for a few momenst until the door was opened and Elizah entered.
