the one my new neighbor slipped under the door earlier. A cozy bar with live music. Friendly staff. Good drinks. And below that, bold letters: Fable’s Bar ....Two blocks away. Maybe that was what I needed. Something casual and noisy enough to drown my brain a little. Something that would distract me from seeing his face every time I blinked. So I grabbed my small purse, tied my hair into a loose bun, and left the apartment. --- Fable’s Bar sat at a corner, warm lights glowing against the cool night.

“How are you doing? Do you feel more relaxed after staying here for a while?” He responded with a faint hum and drank his wine. “Sort of.” “You don’t know that this tavern is famous for something else other than our booze, do you?” Zephir was puzzled. “What’s that?” “It’s also known as the Tavern of Love Encounter.” Zephir was rendered speechless. The owner laughed and poured some wine for Zephir. “I’m serious. Perhaps if you stay here for a while longer, you’ll meet your soulmate and bring her back with you.”

This tavern was located close to the entrance to the scorching skull desert and the only checkpoint where travelers could get a good drink and meal before they ventured on thier adventure. Aside from the other horse that stayed in the stable, nine stood out from the rest. Nine good strong horses of the elites that had only arrived minutes earlier. She slammed her jug back on the counter and let out a loud gruff. She exhaled loudly as she threw back her crimson red hair and stared at the huge taverner before her. "You call this ale? It tastes like cows piss." She spat out. The taverner wiped a stain off his moustache and said. "I'll go get you another Miss...?"

As Jamie was trying to cast them all to memory, as Roaul guided her to a tavern called The Cat’s Claw. Jamie walked into the Tavern and it reminded her of The Crone’s Head, except there were far more decorations on the walls and doors leading off to smaller rooms. The Tavern was full of punters, and there were a couple of barmaids rushing around with jugs of beer. The maids were not scared of slapping the customers if they got too touchy. On the bar was the biggest silver tabby Jamie had ever seen. The cat had amber eyes that would notice everything that was happening. "You are beautiful!" Jamie gasped and walked over. He knew which inn would accommodate him, and he made his way towards it, the sound of Rive's hooves clacking against the stone road, heralding his arrival. Fairy tale inn was a tad famous within the city. It was an inn of a reputation, and while its rooms were nothing well above average, it gained its fame from its incessant fights. Most of those who came into its bars to drink, came only at the chance to witness a fight or have one of their own. They were never disappointed.

It turned out that they had arrived at a tavern in the outskirts, whose customers were typically traveling merchants. It seemed that they were still a fair distance away from the next town.
