The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Fair. Apparently being a baby wasn't a valid excuse. Reasonable honestly. Several minutes later she disappeared. God. Then returned carrying an alphabet book. Fair. A very large alphabet book. Reasonable. The kind usually intended for children who could sit upright. God. Not babies who occasionally sneezed at random. Fair. Then Lily sat directly in front of Peanut. Reasonable. Opened the book. God. And school began. Fair. "A." Reasonable. Peanut stared. God.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Pleasure After Pain

Pleasure After Pain

I sipped my drink slowly. “What’s your favorite sex position?” I almost choked on the wine I was drinking. What the—! “Pardon me?” “You’ve got to answer, Lila.” I looked him straight in the eyes, but there wasn’t a hint of teasing in his expression. This... was serious? He was serious? So, what? This game is just a dirty version of what I thought it would be? “Uh, m-missionary.” He nodded, acknowledging my answer. “Your turn. You need to ask me back,” he reminded me after a few seconds of silence. Not to mention, my face was burning now.

He smiled, and then it turned to a smirk. He was already having wild and naughty thoughts in his head, especially when he was beginning to stare too much. Furthermore, he moved back a bit and ruffled his smooth brown hair. Nothing was going to make him stop flirting until he gets what he wants. Besides, his best friend wasn't calling him a player for nothing.

he said, and I felt like I just hit the jackpot. It seems my prayers have worked. A miracle did happen today. “HA-HAHAHAHA!!!” I laughed like a maniac. Henry stepped back, probably afraid of the expression I'm showing, so I cleared my throat and composed myself so as to not scare the poor guy. I raised my hands and placed it on his shoulders on each side, eyeing him with a glimmer of light in my face,“Henry, you don't have to pass these flyers anymore,” I said.

The Alpha's Daughter

I was expecting my heart to race as it used to when he was close, but it didn't; instead, my heart was peaceful. @@@@@@ Author, are you a lovely lady? First and first, I apologize; I like this book and wish to update it frequently, but I have never earned a dime from it, therefore my exclusive book took precedence. I beg your pardon. Please share my book so I may live a better life hahaha, and while you're waiting for it, you can read my unique book on fictum or fizzo here: by memories (Ruthless is about to become Alpha)

The Lycans' Broken Luna

The Lycans' Broken Luna

Myrna said sadly. "The fairy book? Isn't that the one I read this morning?" Lilly asked excitedly. Unfortunately, Myrna shook her head sadly. "No Luna. What you are reading is a book about Myth Heaven and all its inhabitants. But what I mean is The Books of Fairies, The Spirit of Elden Wood. The book contains information about fairies who live in the Elden Wood forest. Complete information but also bring disaster." She said sadly. Everyone there fell silent. They understood what Myrna meant. Some take advantage of the information there.

Corruption

So Proserpina moves on to the next row, then the next one, and the next one, on and on until she was literally kneeling like a child on the floor when she finally comes across a book third to the last on the bottom row in between a skinny book and leather bound one; the book was silver-gray, small and light in her hands and the cover seemed to have some sort of glossy material in it as it twinkled when she turned it here and there… ‘Kind of a child’s storybook,’ she noted. The book was almost as big as her palm and seemed to have pages as what one would expect from a novelette. She carefully opens it up to the first page–not wanting to have a repeat of another destroyed book because a destro

he confessed and tried to use his waves to cover his face from embarrassment. I smiled warmly at him and picked up the book he had in his hand. "Well this book won't do. It was published in the 70's. You need....." I trailed off as I went from the set of stairs in front of the wall of book shelves. I climbed up until I found the more modern book of Fairies and brought it back down. "Here" I said and handed him the book. "It was published in the early 2000's and to my knowledge, that's the most recent book we have. That should help" I explained.
