I am also confused as to why she’s not changing or getting affected by it. I was sure that she was one too” Ailey blabbered defensively “Maybe we should increase the dose? Alicia stepped closer. “Hello, Zoe,” Alicia said quietly. “We meet again.” At the sound of her name, Zoe thought this was it. Her eyes went over to Diego, who looked just as surprised as she was. “Zoe? Is that my other name?” she asked, trying to make it sound like a joke. Alicia chuckled, settling herself on the couch. “Alicia doesn’t eat mushrooms,” Alicia said suddenly. “She’s allergic. Diagnosed when she was eight. She doesn’t drink alcohol either, and that apple you’re chewing… Alicia would’ve chosen the green one, not red.”

Sunlight streamed through the study windows, illuminating a haunting illustration: a beautiful witch with emerald eyes and silver hair, her hands raised over a kneeling Alpha whose veins blackened where her magic touched him.
