That makes her family!" His gaze then landed on the seat beside me, now occupied by Spencer. His face turned to ice, though he said nothing. When he saw Spencer attentively serving me dishes and filling my bowl with soup, however, his expression darkened to a thunderous glare.

Simon leaned back slightly, his demeanor became so serious but with a hint of charm that seemed almost habitual.

Hazel went on to ask, "What do you do for a living?" Simon’s eyes went a bit deeper. "You have brought me here, and you still want to hide your identity from me?" Hazel folded her arms across her chest and looked at him like a smile. Simon put down the cutlery and smiled with a bit of seriousness, "Since you really want to know me, then I will fulfill your wish. I am the king of the dark world." Hazel was drinking water. Hearing what Simon said, she started choking and spit it all over Simon’s food. Chester’s face changed, he quickly removed the food and replaced it with fresh food.
