I thought this would help, but it isn't doing much for me. Ethan walks down the hall suddenly. He's dressed in sweatpants and a stained t-shirt. He looks awful. She believes I killed her sister, and according to her, she has proof. ‘So you let her blackmail you, even when you know the proof is probably fake?’ I asked him. ‘I try not to see it that way,’ he answered. ‘She’s the sister of someone I used to love. That’s a different bonding altogether.’ ‘And what did she mean by a cheap photocopy?’ I asked, recalling that Stan had also said I looked exactly like the girl he had buried ‘Maya’s just crazy,’ he shrugged. ‘She’s had so much to drink. I could smell the alcohol all over her.’

He's a dumb jock and they tend to be big mouths and gossip kings . After a while of long silence and weird looks from both Tyler and Nick, I finally got an answer. "Okay." Tylers expression quickly changed, and he smirked, shrugging his shoulders as if it was 'no big deal' and 'easy' to be my fake girlfriend. "Whaaaaat ?" I let a fake giggle slide from my lips. Oh no. Freakin' genius!" I staggered back, stomach twisting like I'd been punched. So the whole bankruptcy thing? Just one big scam. All those skipped meals, late nights counting coins, working through burn after burn—none of it even mattered to him. Not even as a joke. Then his friend asked, low, "Jack, you really feel nothing for her?" Jack laughed, ice-cold. "Feelings? For some cheap girl like her? Not worth it."

I hate it when a woman doesn't know her worth and limit. Seeing that I wasn't conceding to her offer for breakfast, her lips began to wobble in tears_fake tears_ before I could comment on her crocodile tears, Gabby walked out with a plate of chocolate. "You're still here Gabriel?" She stared at Claire and the tears trailing down her cheeks, she shook her head clearly amused. "You need to suck it up bitch; everybody knows those tears aren't real"

She didn't spoke anything just nodded her head a little while moving her gaze down slowly. For the first time in my life, I genuinely felt hurt while looking at her tears. I always faked whenever she cried that I felt bad for her. I had to do that so as to win her trust back but every time my whole plan gets destroyed. I find it really disgusting as I can't fake it too much, it really cringes me to act all lovey-dovey with her as my personality is completely the opposite.

The touch she used to crave was making her cringe. Faking all types of tears was one of her many talents, and at that moment, Sierra channeled her inner actress and made herself cry. Her eyes swelled with tears. As if on cue, she cried. Not too much—just a drop for that ‘gratitude’ effect. No one could tell it was rehearsed, however. "Thank you, Alek. This is so stunning." Alek smiled and then held her hand to place a kiss on her knuckles. "I’m sorry about the last scene. I shouldn’t have been too sensitive."

" I studied her closely. Her hands were too tightly closed. Her breathing too fast. Her scent shifted again. Fear. But not for me. For herself. I moved nearer, my wolf pricking, my senses increasing. Tears filled Lira's eyes. She extended her hand down and wiped one off. She was just doing her best to save you, she said. The tear didn't smell right. Not salty. Not real. My chest tightened. I inhaled slowly. And froze. The tear had no truth in it. No real emotion. Just performance. My wolf was deep and low in me. She is lying. The thought came home to me, and my heart was racing. "Lira," I said quietly. "Yes?" as I asked, and my voice shook. "Why do your tears smell fake?"

Making sure to be careless, I crashed myself as to make it look real. Threw the glass that I asked to be brought to him, to the floor.. Everything broke to the ground. Nobody would know I did it after all, I took it on myself to tip them off. "Let's watch how you'd like your present, Derrick," I muttered to myself. Moments after making a perfect ruin of myself, I shouted. It was perfect. Yelling on my lungs as I faked tears. Derrick was gone already, before all of this started but he wouldn't be able to run from the responsibilities.

"What are you saying?" The next thing that happened came in a flash. It was unexpected, I didn't see it coming at all. I was taken aback when I saw her face morph into something else. The smile vanished in a second and tears started rolling down her face. It was like a dam waiting to be broken, she had it in all this time. I can't believe Alex would victimize herself to a point where she was literally letting out fake tears. "Stop it Alex, this isn't funny anymore"
