I snapped back as if this meeting were a mere nuisance to me and not some essential crisis. The devil, Izac, narrowed his eyes on me, suspicious as always. When I became a fallen angel I found I was trusted by none, not angels, not demons, not even the very creatures that make up the world outside of heaven and hell.
