Falling Into His Trap

Falling Into His Trap

She said that dad’s still unconscious so I’m really hoping that I can go home any time soon when Natalia permits me. “How about Agnes? Is she like us too? She seems to know a lot about everything.” When she heard the name Agnes her mood became sour. “Oh that bitch? Yes unfortunately she’s a traitor so we don’t need her.” “Traitor?” “Yes. Traitor to our friendship. The three of us Meredith, Agnes and I we used to be good friends and that stopped the moment she seduced your father.” “So are you saying that…”

The Lycan King's Breeder

The Lycan King's Breeder

The world then slowly turned from the faded blue to pitch darkness and I knew it was over. I was dead. **** My body began to fall. I knew that I should have been scared. I should have been screaming and grasping at whatever I could find to cushion the fall. But I stayed calm. If anything, it felt free. I was free. I welcomed the fall. I welcomed whatever pain that would come with it. Because I deserved it. I had failed. I could only pray that Fiona found a way to counter Willow’s magic. If not, they might not stand a chance.

Renee.
GREAT BOOK! I loved this! Such a nice, simple read with enough plot twists to keep it interesting. Only critique is that chapter sucked! It felt rushed and I don’t agree with Talon still loving Willow, it didn’t fit with the character POVs!

This is a good read. Well rounded characters but I feel the author decided at some she had to make Willow a villain to justify the love between the King and the breeder. Emily’s character is very irritating.

FALLEN PROMISE

She saw the reasons behind her father's choices, the hidden motives that had shaped his actions, and the devastating consequences that followed. The anger that began to rise in her chest was overwhelming, consuming everything else. She had wanted a father to admire, someone to look up to, but now, she was faced with the harsh reality: her father’s legacy was one of manipulation and tragedy. The bitterness of the truth washed over her, leaving her feeling lost, betrayed, and ultimately more alone than ever before.

ONE NIGHT FOREVER

ONE NIGHT FOREVER

I grabbed Damien’s hand, hauling him up, breath sharp, heart pounding. We raced through the collapsing steel corridors, dodging the last wave of Natalia’s guards, fighting through the flaming wreckage. The Fall of an Empire As Rook’s VTOL craft descended, we boarded fast, collapsing inside just as the fortress’s core erupted in a final, blinding explosion. The roar of destruction vanished beneath the storm-tossed ocean, leaving only silence. After the War Hours later... The storm broke, leaving calm seas... and quiet skies. Damien’s dark eyes softened as he rested against the cargo bay wall, his fingers brushing mine, warm, steady... alive.

Fallen Grandeur, Shattered Oaths

Fallen Grandeur, Shattered Oaths

I raised the golf club and viciously swung it at her favourite crystal ornament. At that same moment, my stomach had a sudden, bad cramp. I blacked out from the pain and lost my footing. Whitney called out my name in a panic, "Harvey!" That was the last sound I heard before I fell unconscious. … When I opened my eyes, I was already in the hospital. Whitney was sitting beside my bed, holding a medical report. There was a swirl of mixed emotions in her expression. The anxiety in her eyes dissolved when she noticed I was awake.

AFTER THE FALL

AFTER THE FALL

Said his name was Rome. Didn’t let him in. But you might want to call him back. —V Meekey froze. Rome? He was one of the old crew. Back when things were dirtier, faster. He’d vanished not long after she was arrested—rumors said he either skipped town or flipped. Now he was back? And looking for her? She felt the hairs rise on the back of her neck. Drew was watching. And now, so were the ghosts. Meekey exhaled slowly and poured herself a glass of water. Her hands were steady.

Claimed by the wolves.

Claimed by the wolves.

The fortress groaned around us, collapsing in waves, each echo a reminder of the sacrifices we had made to survive. We emerged into the open air just as the fortress gave a final, thunderous groan. Stone and dust cascaded into the abyss below, Rowan’s stronghold reduced to rubble. I dropped to my knees, gasping, as the adrenaline began to fade. Dorian and Bryan were beside me, their hands on my shoulders, grounding me. Liora appeared shortly after, her eyes wide but relieved, and the warrior’s presence hummed in quiet triumph.

The Fall Of A Made Man (Book 1 Of The Fallen Gods Series)

The Fall Of A Made Man (Book 1 Of The Fallen Gods Series)

AVA’S POV Fear, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced made my skin crawl and my heart lodged in my throat. Vincenzo pulled the trigger. He did. He wanted to have me killed, wasn’t that his intention? But why was I still alive? Why was I hearing the sound of my heartbeat drumming in my ears, loud and clear? I was lost in trance, lost in a world of my own with the sound of my heartbeat the only thing I could hear and feel.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Fallen trilogy is one of those series that sneaks up on you—what starts as a casual read quickly becomes an obsession. I tore through all three books in a weekend because I just couldn’t put them down. The trilogy consists of 'Fallen', 'Torment', and 'Passion', each one building on the last with this addictive mix of supernatural drama and star-crossed romance. Lauren Kate’s writing has this way of pulling you into the world of angels and forbidden love, and by the time I hit the third book, I was fully invested in Luce and Daniel’s messy, epic relationship. The way the story unfolds across the three books feels really deliberate, like each installment peels back another layer of the mystery. It’s one of those series where the length feels perfect—no filler, just a tight, emotional arc that leaves you satisfied but still nostalgic when it’s over.

What I love about trilogies like this is how they give the story room to breathe without overstaying their welcome. 'Fallen' sets up the whole celestial conflict and the curse, 'Torment' ramps up the stakes with Luce’s growing powers, and 'Passion' dives into the past to unravel the 'why' behind everything. It’s a great example of how three books can feel like a complete journey. I’ve revisited the series a few times, and it’s one of those rare cases where I wouldn’t change a thing—no extra books needed, no rushed endings. Just a solid, bingeable trio.
