Push. I feel a shove. I fall, losing my footing. Alex catches me mid-air, wraps me tight, and we crash down the stairs together. Roll. Hit. Scratch. Thud.

She ran to the other direction of the warehouse to see it also covered with bushes. Lena stood there confused as she kept looking around, asking herself where she could follow and get to the main road. Suddenly she heard a trailer loud driving sound coming from the direction the main entrance was. Quickly Lena ran to the main entrance and entered the bush, the very direction she heard the sound coming from. It sound so close and Lena followed th direction running with all her might as she kept pushing and dragging leaves and branches out of her way.

But cleaner and Smarter. And now, Meekey needed a way in. She walked the length of the alley, counting exits, memorizing shadows. Then she doubled back, waited until the van disappeared, and walked straight into the gym like she belonged there. Inside, it smelled like sweat, bleach, and testosterone. Guys were sparring in the ring. Music bumped low from a speaker in the corner. No one paid her much attention, just another girl from the block probably looking for her man. But she wasn’t looking for any man.

Getting inside the room Advik closed the door lightly. "Advi, no.. Don't come near me. " She shouted. "Zoya, this is your punishment. " "Don't come.. Nooo. " She yelled. "Don't sound like something more. Stay quiet and accept your reward. " He said but who will listen. She started running again but Advik caught her, which resulted in both falls on the bed. Hovering over Zoya, Advik said, "now you are trapped. " Being in the game both forgot to notice about the level of intimacy they both are in.

He meant *forward,* but his attention was on the core. The pillar loomed in the middle of the fused chaos, untouched by the fracturing floor. Everything else was in flux. It was the only fixed point. Another tile ahead tried to drop out from under us, carnival planks yawning over a bottomless dark. “No,” I snapped, not at the plank, but at the *fall.* “Shorten,” I thought, hard. “Half‑meter drop. Not pit.” The edge of the board lurched downward—but instead of falling into infinity, it stopped after a foot, snapping into position just low enough that we had to jump, not plummet.

Something nobody expected. Philippe moved. Not away from danger. Towards it. The upper platform beneath him shifted violently. The damaged railing buckled. A section of flooring cracked. And suddenly Philippe was falling. The scream that escaped Jessica's throat wasn't entirely conscious. Everything happened at once. The collapsing platform. The falling debris. The twisting metal. The collapsing timber. And Philippe. Dropping directly towards the floor below. Towards Henri. For a fraction of a second, nobody could move quickly enough. Nobody except Henri.

Above the post, in Robert Morenno’s quarters, the entire room began to shift and tilt forward. Robert and Alex struggled to keep their balance and fell to the floor as the room shifted to an angle leaning down toward the window. Alex looked from the window back over at Robert. He had taken a solid fall to his stomach, and Alex seized his opportunity.

Down is just an endless steaming Red Sea. And it looks like we're a god-damned thousand feet high above. There are jagged rocks, cliffs and thick forest below, which appear very tiny in my eyes right now. The stone beneath my feet cracks and drops into the endless depths. I can't even make out where it landed. I step back again, but a hard push from one of us who's running out of the academy sends me falling downward. I scream, my body already falling when Morien grabs my waist, pulling me against his chest and stepping back.

I stumbled. The world tilted. I fell.

Annalise's POV I'm falling. You know that dream where you're falling, and just as you’re about to hit the ground, you jerk awake? Yeah, it’s exactly like that—except this time, I actually am falling. Eyes wide, I twist to see the ground rushing up to meet me. Channeling my powers, I slow my descent into a controlled drop, landing with one knee down and my fist pressed to the ground.
