Falling for you

Falling for you

Her eyes went crimson as the pain flooded over her. She realized she had to flee from him as quickly as possible. Her instincts shouted for safety, pushing her to keep a safe distance from him. She noticed that the lift was not moving when she looked at the floor number. “Why…. why is this lift not moving”

Falling at Her Feet

Falling at Her Feet

Even though I was mentally prepared, seeing it with my own eyes still sent a sharp, undeniable pain straight through my chest. As the last illusion between us shattered, all I hear was silence.

I Fell For An Alpha

I Fell For An Alpha

Up a tree in the garden was a figure lying on one of the branches. The light from the moon showed it was Jacob also watching the moon and Kliara’s gaze fell at the tree as it gave her some sort of ease making her fall asleep.

I Alone

I Alone

I will not give up on that photo. I huff out a war cry as I lower my head and I charge the man like a bull. I hear him huff, almost in annoyance as I connect with his stomach and he falls backwards, me tumbling with him. We land with me straddling him and he seizes my wrists. His dark eyes are rimmed with red and his face is tense with threat of violence. I try with everything in me to fight him, but I can't free my arms. His gripe is iron, unnatural. I growl in fury, and part humiliation as I fling my leg up over him to try to scrape his shin or knee him between his legs. He pushes from the ground and flips us over, my back chiding hard with the pavement as I hoist my legs up and bury them

Silently Falling

Silently Falling

I suddenly remembered a song, so I held the soap in my hand, pretending that the soap was my microphone. "Side bitch in Frisco, I call her my bae bae. I got a girl but I still feel alone, if you playing me that mean my home ain't home. Having nightmares of going through your phone." I was going all out, high pitched, off beat, mixed with my terrible voice. "What the hell is going on in there? Grumps, that you?" I heard Ryker say. I screamed and dropped the soap on the floor. How the fuck did I not hear him enter?

The Rise Of The White Luna

The Rise Of The White Luna

Exalia’s pov. The fall was so terrible and it felt like it would never end. There wa so utter darkness all around us, and i couldn’t see any one. No one would understand the fear and doubt that was going on in my head except me, I had thought that we were falling to our deaths and we would die in this forest.

The Banished Mate: Awakening The Silver Wolf

The Banished Mate: Awakening The Silver Wolf

Using her warrior’s agility, she scaled the wall, steadying herself on the narrow ledge beneath the window. What she saw inside made her blood run cold. Lucian, holding Selena close... Lucian, brushing away her tears... Lucian, kissing Selena as if she were the only one in his world. A wave of rage, betrayal, and heartbreak crashed over Rina. Her grip faltered as emotion overtook her reason. The shock made her hands slip. With a gasp, she lost her balance and fell. --- The Fall The thud of her body hitting the ground echoed in the night. Pain shot through her left leg as it twisted beneath her. Gritting her teeth, she pushed herself up, ignoring the fire in her muscles.

The Royal Vampagon Hybrid

The Royal Vampagon Hybrid

I keep running. I'm not giving up on trying to get closer, looking at me while I keep on trying to get closer, I can see myself getting further and further away. I'm so small in the distance now I can't see the snakes, but I can still see myself. It looks like I'm leaning down, like I'm trying to get closer to where the snakes should be. I saw the figure of myself stumbled back as if one of the snake's had stuck out at me. I squint, trying to see more but before I can, I'm free falling into the abyss. Nothing but darkness and empty space. Soundless, mindless space. What was happening.

Submitting to my Alpha Bodyguard

Submitting to my Alpha Bodyguard

I missed, the hand holding me firm from falling slipped against the slick railing and pretty soon gravity was pulling me backwards to the abyss. My whole body jerked backwards, a scream escaped from my throat and Carl’s gasp echoed in the room as if he knew how high I was and how a fall from where I was standing meant death. My heart roared, I felt dizzy as I fell backwards. Yet instead of meeting a couple of stairs on my way down, instead of falling over and rolling like some clumsy clueless dog all the way down, my head hit a wall. A wall of tall muscle that broke my fall.

Allie
Not the typical love story. Even with the grammatical errors, this book pulls you in and makes it hard to stop reading with some humor and steamy sex. You won’t be disappointed. Lovely ending. Looking forward to reading about the other guys.

This author, Stella is currently writing the books I'm reading and since she only puts out a chapter at a time, I'd figure I'd read her whole book before the other books are finished. The "Claimed" series is pretty good!

Frequently Asked Questions

The song 'On My Own' by Ashes Remain hits hard with its raw emotional energy. To me, it feels like a battle cry for anyone who's ever felt abandoned or pushed to their limits. The lyrics paint a picture of someone grappling with isolation, but there's also this defiant undertone—like they're refusing to be broken. Lines like 'I’ll stand when it’s all crashing down' scream resilience, almost as if the singer is confronting their struggles head-on instead of running away.

What’s fascinating is how the song balances vulnerability and strength. The chorus, 'I’m not afraid to walk this world alone,' could be interpreted as both a confession of loneliness and a declaration of independence. It reminds me of those moments in life where you realize you can’t rely on others, but that realization somehow fuels you to keep going. The heavy instrumentals amplify this tension, making it a cathartic listen for anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood or left behind.
