There was Fenrik, his golden eyes blazing with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine, but also a weariness that hadn't been present moments ago. He stood beside someone I didn't recognize, a tall, cloaked figure whose face was obscured by shadow. I saw myself too, in various forms—sometimes wielding a sword with unexpected grace, sometimes cloaked in dark, flowing robes, a crown of thorns resting on my head. In one vision, I stood on a precipice overlooking a vast, shimmering city, flames licking at the horizon. Obviously the library. Frost wandered around the library. Trying to find a useful book to read. "World of Mages and Supernaturals. This one." "Royal Family of Esperanza Kingdom." Frost brought the two books she has found towards the brown couch. She sat down and started reading the first book she found.

She tilted her head while questioning. "Oh, we have books and plenty of stories about mythical creatures, I think most, if not all of it exist here." Alexis nodded as she spoke, she was fairly confident her brain conjured up all these creatures to distract her from her impending death. As depressing as it was, Alexis hadn't felt the slight bit affected by the thought because she was thoroughly distracted. "Like history books?" The woman asked looking slightly suspicious of Alexis. Though Alexis noticed she thought nothing of it. "No, no fictional books. Like romances and stuff." She knew the word fantasy probably didn't exist here. "Enough of that anyway. She took the book from Vida’s hand and playfully kept it out of her reach. “Hey!” Vida giggled. “Stop it, Tessa. You’ll get my page messed up.” Tessa would not actually lose Vida’s progress in the book. She still sensibly kept her finger where Vida was reading and turned to take a look at the cover. “Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief,” Tessa rolled her eyes. “Ugh, again? How many times have you read this book?” Vida looked up and actually thought about it. Fantasy books have always enthralled her. There is something about these stories that make her fall in love a hundred or maybe even a thousand times.

I would soar across borders and continents as the wind hovers against my face. Goddamn!! I miss my childhood so much, and my mother was one person who made it more memorable for me. We shared so many awesome memories, even when she fell sick, she still made time for me. She would read me lovely fantasy books, she would take me into the world of dragons, talking cats, and pigs of course; Winnie the Pooh was my favorite piglet. Too bad what the world has done with that character in this generation, they are ruining my childhood with the new development. My movements came to a halt when my gaze flitted across the street and landed on the poster of the new Fantasy series I had been waiting on; All the Beautiful Things. It was a trilogy. All the beautiful things are red, All the beautiful things are gold, and All the beautiful things are black. It was more like Romantasy actually. A wide grin crept up my face and I looked sideways, before slipping towards the bookstore even though I knew there was no car in sight. Volxe bookstore.
