Our daughter could go through books faster than anyone that I personally knew, which was saying something. Violet and I had the idea of collaborating with a well-known supernatural fiction author to create a story specifically for Ava. The author was a werewolf herself, a seer actually, and used her craft to put out enough truth about us to make humans think that it was all make-belief. You could think of it like camouflage, providing just enough of a smokescreen if the humans seemed to notice anything. The majority would consider any commonalities as products of their overactive imaginations.

Ava was almost feeling happy about the fact that Vador wasn't ashamed to hold her so close in public but was shocked when she heard him say"Besides we're bats now. On entering the gallery, Ava saw a sketched drawing of a dog,a vampire dog maybe,It looked delivish with horns. Taking a closer look at it,the dog blinked at her. "Seen anything you like?" Vador asked with his hands behind him. "More of something that I don't like,"Ava murmured"That dog just blinked at me,she pointed to the drawing.

Everything was so romantic. My fingers touched her lips in the picture but only felt the cold screen. "Why did she change her avatar?" I asked. "I'm no expert in this area cuz I didn't have a mate. But most girls change avatars when they experience something dramatic. Alpha Derek, what you did to her today..." Alvin's voice trailed off. I knew I hurt Tabitha's feelings today. I fry the nuggets and take all the snacks to the living room, placing them on the table. “Here,” I say, taking a seat next to Lizzie. “So? How do you feel about visiting Venezuela again after two years?” I ask as I offer her the nuggets.

As she brought me back to the present, my eyes returned to normal, and she gave me a knowing smile. "How can I, a mortal, be your avatar, Goddess Visha," I sincerely inquired. "Would that not mean I was some kind of incarnation of you? I am human, an often clumsy one, and you are a Goddess." Hecate giggled darkly before sarcastically adding to the conversation that, technically, I am a dead mortal now. The statement caused me and the Goddesses to laugh. "An avatar is a loose term. For celestials, we are not bound to a strict or literal set of guardrails as many humans are taught.

Alfi yelled at me. "Writing a story with the handsome, strong, rich, and gallant protagonist? Like the hell, I would! Such a story makes me sick!
