On the day my husband married my younger sister, I once again heard the divine message from the Astral Sanctuary: if I sever all ties to the mortal world within three days, I can reclaim the astral power I relinquished and return to the Astral Sanctuary. His words dripped with mockery as he called me petty and jealous, claiming that sparing me the title of an equal wife had been his greatest act of kindness. On the second day, I drove a blade into myself six times, severing my bond with my cherished elder brother. He stood by, cold and unfeeling, sneering that I was nothing more than a desperate fool, resorting to theatrics to compete for his affection—a devotion he reserved entirely for my sister. On the third day, I clenched my teeth and carved through my own flesh and bone, severing my connection to the parents who had given me life. Enraged, they called me ungrateful and declared I was unworthy—not just of being their daughter, but even of being compared to my perfect sister. In the end, I succumbed to exhaustion and blood loss. My spirit ascended to the Astral Sanctuary, where I reclaimed my true identity as an Astral Maiden. Leah and Abigail are separated at birth at the request of their mom, Amber. Leah stays with her mom and Abigail goes to live with her aunt, Emerald, calling her mother. Caleb is Leah’s best friend and finds out that he is part of a lineage of werewolves who promised to protect Leah’s lineage of witches. Caleb is taken into his father's old pack by Seth, one of his father's dearest friends. Caleb meets Hope who has her heart set on mating with him, but his heart belongs to Leah. Hope is relentless in her pursuit and Caleb. Emerald is extremely jealous of Leah and Abigail's powers, both being more powerful than she. She will stop at nothing to keep the girls in check, even turning to the dark arts. Emerald knows that she is angering the Goddess by turning to the dark arts but is willing to take her chances. She enlists her familiar, Silden a shapeshifting Raven, to spy on Leah and report back on her progress. Silden can no longer take the pressure of spying on poor Leah and she reveals herself to her. They hatch a plan to fool Emerald by making her believe that Leah isn't as powerful as she thinks she is. Caleb teaches Leah how to fight, making sure that she not only focuses on her magic to keep her safe. She is a quick student and easily picks it up. Leah is bitten when in a fight with a rogue pack of wolves from a neighboring pack and becomes a hybrid. Wracked with jealousy Emerald hatches a plan to try to steal Abigail's powers, but Leah and Caleb find her just in time to stop her and rid their family of the evil within.

Twenty years ago, Thantos Abraxas, The Alpha of the Crescent Shadow werewolf pack went on a powerfueled rampage. Leaving every other pack with just one choice, bow down or die. He ripped through pack after pack, slaughtering it's members and forcing many others into hidding. Even worse, he destroyed every pack's wolfsbane plants, forcing them to lose control of their wolf selves during the full moon. Luckily the packs that hid were able to escape with some, but only enough for their own. Now, the Crimson River pack's wolfsbane is nearing complete depletion and the werewolves wont survive for long without it. The vicious killings of so many humans from nearby towns are beginning to draw hunters to the packs location. But luckily, there is still one hope left. Their Alpha, Grayson Sinclair, sends his nieces Malia and Iselyn to try and reason with Thantos in his old age for some of his wolfsbane. But will the girls be willing to compromise with the monster that put them in this situation to begin with? With the hunters closing in on their family, do they even have time to think about it? Will they even have a home to go back to? One thing's for sure. Grayson will never bow down to another. And neither will they.

When she finally thought that her life was going back to its witchy normality, her visitor returned only to claim that he's going to reside with her due to a master-servant curse that bound them on his summoning. Ruby was forced to live with a very flirtatious demon who seemed to want to bed her so she tried finding a way to break their curse. But what if his presence only attracts trouble?
