I wished the guards would come back soon with good news but I dared not make a sound. After some minutes , the silence was broken when someone entered the room. “Lyra,” the newcomer said, and I turned to see the pack’s healer, Sable, walking in. She must have heard the commotion. Her kind eyes softened as she approached. “I heard what happened and I can help you find him.” “How?” I whispered desperately. “How can you help me find my son?” The healer sat beside me, taking my trembling hands in hers. “You’re his mother.
