Life in the south was better than I could have imagined. I was put in charge of the Silver Moon Pack’s most sacred sanctuary, home to rare silver foxes, snow wolves, and the legendary moon-stags. Peanut leaned closer. Listening. Completely captivated. Thomas kept going. Inventing the story as he turned each page.

As the pack wolves fought bravely against Alexei, hoping to restrain him, his feral rage only escalated. He tore through them without hesitation, consumed by a bloodlust that couldn't be contained. Novel closed her eyes, allowing her magical essence to flood through her veins. She rose slowly off the ground, floating for a brief second before vanishing into thin air with the speed of lightning.

I looked as if I had heard the greatest joke under heaven. "Second Elder, have you grown senile? The Fox King has already spoken. You want me to withdraw? Are you trying to start a war between Moonridge and the Fox Clan?" The Second Elder went pale and had no reply. Just then, a commotion came from outside the hall. "The black fox has transformed! The black fox has transformed!" Everyone was shocked and rushed outside. In the middle of the square, a ball of black mist slowly dispersed, revealing a tall, slender figure.

WHEN I arrived at the forest, where all of the nine-tailed foxes were gathered, I saw them running toward me. I immediately hear her scream. Not in the middle of the running foxes, but beside me. Not exactly, just on the side of me. "HIRO! GO AWAY!" Amaya shouted. I didn't bother to look at her, because I remembered what Venus said. I closed my eyes. And when I opened it, it changes its color just like a while ago— orange. Then I glowed like I was a Meralco who's serving light among the world.

Leslie raised her right eyebrow, then turned to press play again, and the tune that had the honor of being her favorite began to lilt out of the speakers again. Leslie, still frowning her pretty eyebrows, asked again, "Why?" I couldn't help but smile, "I think Don Quixote is a very lovable madman." I've read this book more than once. "No." I shook my head, thinking to myself that my literary skills weren't that good yet.

“Anyway, they're going to die so there's no need for us to remember their name.” I chuckled upon hearing his words which were filled with animosity. “So is there something that you wanted to ask? Just ask me and I'll tell you the truth.” Phoenix didn't hold back and asked. “You said that you read the novel in that world, can you tell me about the plot and why did I become a villain? I feel that there's something suspicious with the content of the book, much more the author of the book. Did the author of the novel that you read have a supernatural power that can see the future of the other world? I always have this feeling that this world, which is our original world isn't made by the author,

But instead of old stories from my grandmother’s life, the pages were scrawled with strange symbols and sketches—shorthand in her handwriting explaining the purpose of different runes and sigils. Flipping through the pages, there were sketches of wolves, and the last page that she’d written in had a detailed rendition of a nightmarish wolf-beast that made my blood run cold at the sight of it, it’s eyes smudged over with charcoal in the shape of a protective rune. My heart raced when I realized what I was holding. This was no ordinary journal, it was a spell book.

Maybe with Phoebe, we’ll be able to unravel the mysteries around this. Waking side by side, we went into her room. Picking up the book, it ignited with a golden glow, pages opening on its own. “What sort of book is this?” I muttered to myself, scrutinizing it. Thankfully, Hayley wasn’t in the room, giving us time to read it. The book talked about creatures that existed before werewolves such as vampires, fox spirit, fairies and the rest. Phoebe seemed more invested in fox spirits, her fingers traced the intricate drawings, her gaze never leaving. Following her line of sight, I saw the drawing of a fox with nine tails, its eyes ignited with a violet glow, looking so divine and magnificent. “V

I wandered through the aisles, running my fingers along the spines, feeling a sense of belonging I hadn't felt in a long time. I spent the whole day there, completely lost among the books, reading story after story until I lost track of time. One book caught my attention "The Adventures of Sir Flufftail" a ridiculous but absolutely hilarious story about a brave and very dramatic rabbit knight who went on quests to save stolen carrot cakes from mischievous squirrels.
