We aren’t a witch. ‘It hurts like hell though!’ Raine was foaming at the mouth. I sighed and tried to take better stalk of my surroundings. It was a fairly plain bedroom. The furniture was slightly mismatched but all of it was dark wood. There was a door partially open on the right side that was a bathroom, the light on was the only light in the room. On the wall to the left looked like sliding doors for a closet. As much as it was sparse, it did look lived in. There was a laundry basket in the corner that was partially full. A couple books were scattered around the different tables as well.

Once I’m done setting up the tables, I sneak upstairs and hide behind Belinda’s large closet to watch her and her friends get ready. Belinda’s room is what I imagine a princess’ room looks like. It has a large white wooden four-poster bed with a royal blue Fleur de Lis pattern on the headrest. Her bedspread is royal blue and purple, with a lot of pillows laying snuggly over it. The walls are painted a light butter yellow. There are several white wardrobes and dressers, along with a royal purple fainting couch near the window. It’s a few doors down from the blue room where Mona had brought her earlier. A magnificent four-poster dominates the dark green room. Made of the same highly polished wood as the piano, the bed is just as intricately carved. The flames in the fireplace cast flickering shadows over the carvings. Above the mantelpiece there’s a painting of the house and the surrounding countryside, and at the far end of the room stands an immense wardrobe in the same wood as the bed. On every wall are shelves covered in books and curios, but Danica’s gaze is drawn to the nightstand where the little dragon night-light sits.

Sleepily I went to roll over only to be constricted somehow from doing so. At the feeling of not being able to move my eyes shot open. It was nighttime, but the interior of the bedroom hut was softly illuminated by candlelight. Wildly my eyes took in the fact that my hands were bound off loosely to the headboard. Taino wasn’t in the room, but his two wives were. I tried to sit up, but Winastra’s hand to my chest pushed me back down.

At the top of the stairs, a half-circle bedroom decorated in the same modern-medieval style waits for me, complete with a huge bed with a wooden canopy, rose-colored curtains, and enough mattresses that it might actually be from the story about the princess and the pea. "Thank you very much." He skips off back to his parents. With my big bag I walk into my new bedroom. It was dark when I opened the door. I search the wall for a light switch. My hand touches it. I switch it on. My eyes are met with a beautiful room. There is a beautiful bed with a gold framing and a deep red cover with silk patterns of red roses all over it. The whole wall beside it was made out of glass. Huge curtains drapping on the sides. This is insane. This is my bedroom? There was a fire place placed at the end of the room across from the bed. A table against the wall with a giant mirror on it. This is a room fit for a princess. Surely this is not my room? There must be a mistake right
