“Haven’t you said it before?” “Yes, but maybe they don’t remember and reading this will make them understand this book better. So yes,” She is suddenly facing the wall beside her, “I want you guys to read the first book. ‘Asteria: The Fey King’s Mate’. It’s exclusively on N******t, so I couldn’t upload it here. I am sorry for that, I really am but this will make you understand a lot of things better and I hope you like it.”

I eased the heavy volume from its place, its leather cover cool and smooth beneath my fingertips. The pages told a story, a myth given flesh. It spoke of a great mage who challenged a creature of shadow and ruin named K'tthar, a being who had laid waste to entire landscapes in its devastating rampage. The tale praised the courage of the city's heroes who ultimately sealed the dark entity away, but it was a poet's account, not a scholar's. The prose was beautiful, the narrative heroic, but it was a song, not a schematic. It offered no names, no incantations, no specifics of the magic they wielded to achieve the impossible. With a sigh of profound frustration, I closed the book and slid it bac

Marretje adds when she sees me stare longer than necessary at the books; little does she know that I have less interest in reading. I have my hands on the drawing in no time, my fingers neatly trailing the stained, softened edges of the paper. Something about the rough sketch etches a feeling of familiarity with it, but I am not certain if Katelyn once showed it to me. Without warning, my head pulls back and my hands freeze, a bright white light flashing in front of my eyes before I could blink twice. My neck seems to snap from the force that is. I am lost—somewhere in a cold acre full of ice and snow, so much snow that I struggle to keep my legs steady.

Hopefully you'll enjoy the next generation of Guardians as much as you enjoyed the first trilogy. Also, if you haven't tried it, I have a book out called The Arena. It's the first in the Elemental Dragons series. It's very different from this world of the Guardians. That book is filled with shifters and, you guessed it, dragons. That series is intended to have four books, one for each dragon.

How could she think about him when only moments before she was thinking about the hated Dave and how much she feared him? She flipped her laptop open again and decided she’d continue with her children’s books, the Sacred Sword series, urban fantasy stories about a brother and sister who found themselves in the Himmapan world where the heaven and earth were at war, gods and demons fought for power, and amongst them were creatures like the naga, garuda, and hanuman who aided the two children in their journey to save this world.

Vicariously, she’d experienced Anna’s thrill of excitement and couldn’t help but wish she was the woman in Gabe’s arms instead of her friend. Groaning, she rubbed the throb starting in her forehead. She wished she knew why she felt this way. It was so unlike her. Had living as a lady’s companion become so boring that she suddenly dreamed of improper things? What happened to the freedom she thought she’d have pretending to be a companion? For some reason, it wasn’t all she had wanted it to be. She pulled away from the tree and took slow steps away from her hiding area, taking great care to see if anyone was watching her. Once again, she was grateful that nobody had cared about the lady’s comp

If you’re below eighteen, you should not read these books as they feature a lot of violence, gore and sex. If you’re a fan of fantasy series with werewolves, demons, vampires, witches, gods and whatnot, you can read THE WICKED GAMES, which is the first in the series called The Spirileaxus Saga. Unfortunately, none of the books in this series is standalone, so you have to read them in chronological order. You can also go for CURSED BLESSINGS. Again, this is book one in the series The Blessed Ones.

Greetings to all my wonderful readers! As you've likely noticed, I have actual artwork of my characters for the cover of my book now. This was a commission I paid for from a very dear artist friend by the name of Rydi on DeviantART also known as lucia-garcia on ArtCorgi. We've known each other for a long time now, and I was super happy she gave me permission to use the old commissions in this way, so if you like her style, feel free to check her out.
