Lori smiled, “That’s a good girl.” She turned to us, “Goldie is a licensed therapy dog. She is allowed in the house any time she wants to come in. When a child cries at the sight of her, she lies on her back in front of them. Any of the staff knows to rub her belly and show the child she is not a threat.
