Waves of Fate

Waves of Fate

“Her face was all torn up… She was young and had a deep cut in her belly. Looked like she was expecting, and the baby...” Even hearing that, Ethan didn’t flinch. His stride remained steady. His attention was solely on Aria, his voice soft with concern. “Are you okay? Did you get hurt?” Aria looked up at him, shaking her head. A sly glint of pride flickered in her eyes. As they stood there, a familiar object tumbled out from under the white cloth on the passing stretcher, landing with a soft plop in the mud. A seashell necklace was at their feet, its delicate tinkling sound cutting through the murmurs.

ALMOST REJECTED; FATE'S CHOICE

ALMOST REJECTED; FATE'S CHOICE

Well, now that they saw the face of the fifth contestant, I guess they had questions, I could feel it in the way that their sharp gazes caressed my back as I took the final step into the ring. And there he stood, Warrior Fords. He was dressed in a white battle robe. It was clear and spotless at the beginning of the contest. But now, as I looked at him, at his attire, it was covered by blood, to the point that you couldn't see any clear part. Even his face was smeared with blood. He looked scary, unrecognisable, with a sardonic smile stretching at the corners of his lips as he looked at me. Malice and confidence danced in his eyes as they held mine, filled with challenge and provocation. Fath

Thalia's Ashen Fate

Thalia's Ashen Fate

she began, her voice dropping into the familiar, melodic rhythm of a storyteller, "in a kingdom hidden from mortal eyes, there lived a girl named Lira. Her home was not merely a place, but a song. It was a meadow of impossible flowers that chimed softly in the breeze, where the light dappled in shades of pearl and amethyst, and the very air hummed with ancient, peaceful magic. "But one day, the song faltered. A seer, her eyes clouded with visions of smoke and steel, spoke a prophecy before the Fae Queen. 'When iron seeks to bleed the flower,' she rasped, 'And greed consumes the sunlit hour, a child of meadow, fair and slight, must wed the darkness, bring the light.' A shadow had fallen acros

Fate & Chaos

I asked when I was standing at the table. "Please sit," she nodded, and I did. I watched her again. Her face shined. She had a glowing face. Her eyes never kept the same shade. Every time I blinked, I saw another color. I stopped blinking faster after seeing the same result. The crown looked like the moon. Her exposed arms were glistered with many silvery-gray symbols. Moons and wolves. I was fascinated because everything twinkled and changed. It reminded me of my wolf. It was like an illusion.

Fangs of Fate

Fangs of Fate

Chapter 13: The Threads of Fate As the Red Teary Moon Pack continued their journey, they came across an ancient temple hidden deep within the heart of the wilderness. Inside the temple, they discovered a magnificent tapestry that stretched across the walls, filled with intricate patterns and vibrant colors. The tapestry seemed to shimmer with a magical aura, and the pack members sensed that it held a profound secret. Curiosity piqued, Emily reached out to touch the tapestry, and as her paw made contact, a surge of energy coursed through her. Visions flashed before her eyes, revealing the interconnectedness of all living beings and the threads of fate that bound them together.

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

Then there was the third one, the mural Jonda painted in her room at New Moon right before she died. Each painting depicted a scene of a war. The first was a woman with black hair surrounded by wolves, Conri standing by her side. The second was the same woman, her hair streaked, the same wolves but accompanied by others as Inanna stood on a rock her sword held high, ready to lead a charge. The third, the one Jonda painted, was the most different. The same wolves stood by Inanna’s side, with werecats in the background but the biggest difference was the bear that proudly stood next to the rock and the silver wolf on the goddess's left. Through time each war against Anu and Aodh had been very s

The beginning of this book was hard, but then all the characters showed their strengths and it really wrapped Lamia’s part of the series up. The whole series was definately one of my favourites with strong female characters
Kristi Miller

then Gilgamesh teleported away. “Who was that?!” said Zabima with a surprised tone “that was the archer version of Gilgamesh, controlled by Deltorius” I said as I put my hand out and my lance came back to me just like Kratos’s axe coming back to Kratos. Then I look at Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, Cassidy & Charlotte “Great Uncle?” Fritz asked, “What is it Fritz?” I asked him as I started cleaning my Excalibur “how many servants are there?” he questioned me “according to the Fate/Grand Order Fandom Wiki there’s a staggering total of 350 servants and that includes beasts as well” I said “that’s a lot of characters from just one game Great Uncle” said Cassidy “true anyway let’s go, besides Ga

The detail in those feathers is exquisite, every line sharp and sure. I glance back at the walls. Most of the animals she has up are wolves, which makes sense, I guess. But none of them appeal to me. Nothing I want inked into my skin permanently. I do another slow circuit of the room, scanning for anything I might have missed, but it is the same. The only piece that keeps catching my eye is the bird. Sage must notice, because from my spot by the far wall she says, “It’s a phoenix. The phoenix dies and is reborn from the ashes. It symbolises rebirth, strength and transformation.”

Fate Or Mates

Fate Or Mates

His hand came up and brushed a stray snowflake from my cheek. “They have excellent taste,” I said, leaning into his touch for a fleeting second. “They want me to tell the First Moon story.” His smile widened, and the pride in his eyes deepened. “Of course they do. You give the old tales new breath.” He glanced around the hollow, at all the bustling activity, then back at me. “Everything coming together?” “I think so. Martha and Elara are geniuses. The banner…” I trailed off, feeling a flicker of that nervousness return. “I chose the motif. A seed breaking open beneath the moon. Growth from darkness.”
