Fate Wrote His Name

Fate Wrote His Name

I told him about that rare leaf that could weaken a dragon’s powers if touched the right way. I told him. And now he had used it. He had used it… against us. I turned away, trying not to show my face. My heart was breaking. Slowly, painfully. I couldn’t breathe for a second. Why did I trust him? Why did I speak so freely? Blaze was still talking. “And guess what? That man—he was holding a princess’s hand. They were getting married.” I froze. Blaze didn’t notice. “They were in a thall. Everyone was dancing, singing, celebrating. He was right beside the princess. Holding her hand like she belonged to him. Like he had forgotten everything else.”

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

“Right, um, so we came home, did a home birth, just the two of us. Uriel came in screaming. Her dark hair was already long and her wings were imprinted on her back, just like any other angel babe, but her skin glowed like that of a god. She had only been in our home for mere hours before we had a knock at the door, the three fates walking straight in without a word." Athena’s head whipped to Michael, clutching her pen. “The Fates visit no one,” Athena slammed her pen down. “You should have told someone they visited you. What they say could give us a glimpse into the future and you dare keep that from the rest of us? What were you thinking?!” Athena slung her chair to the side of the room, pa

LIES OF HOPE

LIES OF HOPE

Her hands were trembling in front of her and she held them out seeing the flashes of colour. “Can you see that?” She asked looking at James who was smiling. “Yes. Mark and I can both see it. That’s your Magic.” “But I…?” lisa stared at her hands as they still flashed multicoloured and her words failed her. “Now do you believe?” James asked and all she could do was nod. It was madness, all of it, but it was also true. She was exactly what they’d been saying. She was Magic. She was Fate.

The Luna's Rejected Assassin

The Luna's Rejected Assassin

“You forget I can see everything past, present and future. I can anticipate their every move.” “Well then stop asking me if I got here alone then,” I answered him smartly. The slap that stung across my face took my breath away, my face hit the stone wall behind me and I felt a warm dribble of blood make its way down the side of my head. Everyone knew even the most powerful Fates only saw glimpses, for him to claim more, he was deranged.

This book follows from “The Banished Alpha” and I love how it continues from those previous events but in new perspectives. It’s a wonderful book about redemption, moving forward and love. Bella had such an amazing character growth that felt relatable and honest. And I just adore grumpy Lucien!

Gerald asked, eying the mountain devoid of life. “There has been a change in Mother during these few months,” Tabby stated, looking at her Mother. “Hello, I’m the Goddess Maia; how do you do,” Julie stated, extending her hand. Blake extended his hand to shake it in greeting but to his and everyone’s surprise, she grabbed Blake’s hand, pulled him into her arms, and kissed him passionately. “I’ve wanted to do that for a very long time,” Maia stated when she let Blake go flustered.

he asked me back. I shook my head as I continued to look into his eyes. “The local people here call it “Unmei no akai ito”. According to legend, the gods tie an invisible red thread to the pinky finger of two people who are bound to find each other in life. They will love each other no matter what and only death can do them part.” He looked at my hand and held my pinky finger. His eyes then back to mine. “I didn't believe in fate and love at first sight, but now I believe because I've been in love with you from the first time I saw you,” he said in a soft voice.

I just don’t seem to understand her, she tells me that she doesn’t want me to touch her and now she’s the one willingly holding my hand. "Let go of my hand," I said "Where are you going?" She asked again "Let. Go. Of. My. Hand." I spoke out "Oh wow! You are shamelessly having pride, where are you going?" She yelled "Let go of my hand Noor, you don’t own me and you have no right to ask me where I’m going," I said; my voice very soft and calm "Where the hell are you going?" She yelled "Somewhere away from you," I told

Fates Exchanged

The old man sneered before saying, “Sure, I can give it to you. “I’m just afraid you won’t be able to bear the consequences, though.” With that, he handed her a bunch of keys as readily as before and said, “These are keys to the shop in the middle. From now on, it’s yours.” Quinn almost screamed in elation. Right then, her phone rang and she picked it up. “Yes, I’m Quinn Lott. “What? Madam, slow down! “What happened to my parents?”

Frequently Asked Questions

Fate's Hand is one of those concepts that feels ancient yet timeless, like it’s been woven into stories since humans first tried making sense of chaos. In Greek mythology, the Moirai—Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos—were literally spinning, measuring, and cutting the threads of life. Their 'hand' wasn’t just symbolic; it was the force deciding when you’d breathe your first or last breath. Norse mythology had the Norns carving destinies into Yggdrasil, while Slavic folklore spoke of Rozhanitsy weaving fate at a baby’s birth.

What fascinates me is how these ideas blur the line between destiny and free will. Is Fate’s Hand a cruel puppeteer, or just a guide? Some myths treat it as unchangeable (Oedipus’s tragedy), but others, like Celtic tales, show heroes defiantly 'reweaving' their threads. It’s less about a literal hand and more about that gut feeling—when luck or doom feels palpably pulled by something beyond us. Maybe that’s why modern stories, from 'Sandman' to 'The Witcher,' still riff on this—we’re all low-key obsessed with who’s really holding the strings.
