Fates Hand 소설 & 이야기

On the evil side, their are various species of brings, ranging from gods to demons to even fates themselves. Speaking of Fates, the fates are three beings that claim to have woven the fabric of the universe by the words of their mouth. Divided into three bodies, each having a specific task, the fates thus, write the destiny of man. One makes the destiny, one speaks into the soul and one ends the life of the owner of the destiny. The fates have been rumoured since chapter 12, only to make their first debut at the ending chapters.

"I am part of this now. We all are." Ava stopped, her gaze fixed on Misha. "She's right, you know." She crossed her arms, her expression uncharacteristically serious. "The Fates. It's not just a fancy title for our shared trauma bonding. If you're gone, the thread unravels. I'm the anchor, but an anchor needs something to hold to. Without both of you, without the balance you create, I'm just a lonely goth girl with too much power and no one to direct it at." "And the children?" I rasped, the effort of speaking growing monumental. "They are the true Fates, our replacements. Our duty is to protect them until they can assume their roles."

“But yes. They are like sports drinks. And tea.” Abertha relaxing helps me let go a little. Breathe a little deeper. I take a sip from my cup. It’s sweetened with honey. Just how I like it. “First off, it’s not Fate, it’s Fates. Plural. And they aren’t necessarily working together. You’ve got the sports drink Fate who is all about the results. Hydration by whatever means necessary. Pups, pups, pups. That’s all she cares about. But then there’s the tea Fates.”

Her fingers are shaking beneath the wide long sleeves of her white robe. “Do you understand the responsibilities as the wielder of strings bear?” “Let people meet their loved ones.” I immediately answered. She smiled and the air around her flutter. “Yes, and other things too.” She took one tainted with black string and offered it to me. “Strings are the foundation of Fate in this world. People can’t change nor alter what they’re destiny is, even when they try numerous ways to change their path. If Fate decides you will die today, you will die. But you, my mistress, has the power to change other people’s fates in your hands -”

" Hey... What's wrong, buddy? Won't you tell me?" V4 asks as he cups my face with both his hands and plays with my ears while making weird faces which would normally make me laugh but I wasn't really in the mood. I use my paw to pull down one of his hands from my face. I then noticed he has a fated mark on his hand as well..... but his was half a silhouette of what looked like grapes and was barely visible. I turn to Cynthia and noticed she has the second half. He must be fated with Cynthia. .... " Let's just fix your wife."

His eyes fixed entirely on me. “She’s okay Little Moon. She just used all of her energy and needs to rest.” I leaned forward and nudged her body. I reached my hand to touch her face but something moved. I froze. A white shape emerged in my line of sight. Where there was supposed to be a hand was… A paw! A small, beautiful paw covered in fur whiter than snow.

The alpha's grinned widened, "precisely." "That's impossible. Fate gives you one person you're mated to. Or destined to be with. This can't happen. " The alpha shrugged again, a gold coin spinning easily between his knuckles. "Fate fucked up."

“I wish I were human; they can decide for themselves who they end up with.” The antique, textured burgundy and gold wallpaper tickled the ridges of his fingers as he slid them across while he did his best to calm her down. “Yes, that’s true, but they often pick poorly. Your mate is hand-picked for you by the Fates; these things are meant to be. Go with it for once and see where it leads you.”

she replied. Helpful. Selene laughed in my mind. “I’m sorry my messages are sometimes vague, Avelina. I am limited on how much I can tell you without disrupting the order of the universe and causing problems for the Fates.” “The Fates?” “Yes, my daughter. The Fates ensure the world carries on as it should, that people are in the right places at the right time, that people die when they are supposed to and live when they should. Not all future events are set in stone, some can be influenced. The events that can be influenced are easier for me to discuss with you as the choice is ultimately yours. Events that can’t be changed and have to happen in a specific way are harder.”

"The one man up there is Robbie. He's the highest level mage in our chapter here. And the appointed representative." I glanced at the man. He was handsome, with his curly red hair and epic beard. In another life I could have seen myself with someone like him. Xander shifted in front of me, like he could hear my thoughts. Nope, I was happy where I was, thank you. "The women are Callie, Camelia, and Trisha. We call them the Fates. Their families are old society. Like, original Grimms. I think one of Trisha's ancestors survived the Salem Trials. Pre-Fall old society."
