She sniffed, and Felix walked up to her. He squatted in front of her. "Stop all this; it's really bad for your health... You forget about Dad and move on... it's not the end..." "No! I can't! I'll never do such a thing!" Maureen snapped. Felix stood up. "You have no shame, mom!" Felix hissed and went back to his room. "Shame is not in my dictionary. If you're so ashamed of me, then stop being my son... I don't even need you. I just wanna enjoy life..." Maureen gushed, throwing her legs up in the air.

"Are you afraid? Or are you remembering every detail of that night?" I turned my head sharply towards him, my eyes blazing with hatred despite the fear coursing through my veins. "How can you ask me that? You are a monster! You are his father! You took something that wasn't yours, something that belonged to your son’s world! Do you have no shame at all? No conscience?" He let out a deep, mocking laugh, turning his body fully towards me. He reached out, and before I could stop him, his cold fingers gripped my chin, forcing me to look straight into his ruthless eyes.

All throughout the drive, as much as we want to take a rest from it, we still can’t help but have our conversation drift to what happened last night. After a while, Craig brings up what we haven’t talked about yet. “What did you think of Rena’s father?” My jaw tightens. “Honestly? He made me sick. How could these people say such things about his father? His father was the best in the world—a kind-hearted, upright, and selfless man. His father would never do anything wrong. He wasn't the person they described.

He stumbled to his feet, filled with anger, and started punching and kicking Nathan, saying, "You ungrateful child. How dare you hit your own father? Aren't you afraid of facing consequences?" I was used to his constant rebukes but not this. “Damon didn't show up because he knew you weren't worth showing up for.” “Even he couldn't be bothered. How pathetic!” Stephen laughed as he shoved me. I fell backwards, grazing my elbows on the cold, tile floor. My eyes filled with tears as I struggled to sit up but even my father didn't want to look at me. He pushed me back to the floor and looked me dead in the eye before saying those cruel words. “Youve brought humiliation to us.”
