The Dragon Slayer's Queen
Zayla’s father landed next to them, shifting back into his human form.
“Okay,” he said, “think about your human form—your hair, eyes, hands, fingers, and toes. Keep that image in your mind, and hold onto it. Then, you will shift back to your true form.”
Zayla was the first to transform, and I heard the snapping of bones fill the night air. After a few moments, she stood before us, wearing a flowing black and purple gown that cascaded down to her feet. With a massive smile, she ran towards me and enveloped me in a big hug.
