The points of light formed the outline of a dragon, but the longer he looked, the more something about it felt wrong. This dragon wasn't like the ones in the Dragon Abyss. The true dragons there were five-clawed creatures, formed from the traditional composite: rabbit eyes, deer antlers, an ox muzzle, a camel's head, a clam's belly, tiger paws, eagle talons, fish scales, and a serpent's body. They weren't winged lizards. Yet the figure on the wall, though it strove toward a serpentine shape, had an abdomen that bulged in a way that resembled folded wings pressed flat against its body.
