Novel & Cerita Feathered Dragons

This is something else I know nothing about and it would all be much easier if I had a way to get answers. I continue flying and notice two large shapes looming in the distance. They're dragons. As I draw closer, I see the larger one is red and the smaller blue. I believe the red dragon is the young one who came with his parents two weeks ago and wanted to know what made me so special. Perfect. They turn their attention my way and follow me as I head for a large field below me to land.

“This is T-Rex.” Khael tilts his head. “What’s a T-Rex?” “A dinosaur,” she says easily. The three of us glance at each other. I wait, but none of us moves to speak. Clearly, none of us knows what a dinosaur is. She grins and explains before we have to ask. “They were massive creatures that lived in our world a long, long time ago. Some had feathers; others had scales or rough skin. Enormous jaws and sharp teeth. Clawed feet. They were kind of like…” She pauses, shrugging. “Like dragons without wings.”

As her dragon glided along warm currents, tracking Ragnar's mate, she looked up from the valleys below and beheld a breathtaking sight. In the distance flew a gigantic white dragon, her crests were tinged a dusky pink, and Titan felt she'd never seen a beast so beautiful. This must be the Queen's dragon. Beating her wings to lessen the distance between them, Titan had to put real effort in to catch up, and she was puffing before she reached the Queen's tail. There she noticed the real struggle taking place.

He drew closer, still circling, until I could make out details of his form, the powerful wings spread wide, the strong legs drawn close to his body. More like a scaled wild cat than a sinuous snake, I noted as my heart fluttered with instinctual fear. His head was square, strong, the canine teeth over-biting the bottom lip long and white against the golden scales. The scales shifted in colour, white across his belly, pale yellow and green grading into a dark, deep gold across his back with its spinal ridges showing orange in places - possibly, I thought, where the blood sat closer to the surface. Did dragons bleed red?

"What?" Azalia couldn't believe her ears. Surely, she hadn't heard Melech right. "A dragony?" She repeated in a puzzled voice. "Nobody in their right mind would ride such a dangerous creature." Dragonies were small dragon-like creatures belonging to the Adom Kingdom. They were a dark orange colour, their wings and bodies covered with red scales strong enough to stop a blade. They were gorgeous but could breathe fire and had extremely sharp fangs and claws that could kill a man on the spot. Azalia would never dare approach one of those too close.

They received a message from another shifter guard. ‘Dragons have appeared within the Dream realm. Warning. Dragons are here, but in human form.’ ‘Crap, they shouldn’t be here. They’re our secret back up.’ Dragons were a thing, all their own. No one’s sure whether they’re a creature as old as the Fae. Or their first creation. But Dragons could cast a form of wild magic. Which made them perfect as a secret weapon. If any Fae asked a human about dragons, they’d learn humans didn’t believe they existed. Fae would assume this belief was because they were extinct.

Also by the way, 'Feirns' are large four-legged animal with a mane and tail of feathers, it's body and legs are covered with shiny soft hair, it has hooves, and a long head with a beak of a mighty eagle. Even thought it's strange and an alien to us but this creature looked majestic, like a new discovered raise of chimeras. It's main function is the same as horses, but it is more used by warriors or a single person-ride, unlike the certain species of dragons that draw a carriage.
