My fists clenched so tightly that my knuckles turned white. “Daimon, I understand your fury, your hatred,” he tried to reason, taking a deep breath. “But we are also destroying our own people, doing exactly what the enemy wants, and the solstice is approaching... You...” I moved without thinking, my hand grabbing his neck and lifting him off the ground with ease. His body rose as if he weighed nothing. “Alpha... please...” he stammered, choking. I assume a defensive stance, but before I have a chance to fight back, I see movement behind Fenriz, and a pair of tattooed arms lift him under his arms and holds him back. “Fenrisúlfr!” Andreas roars. “Enough, brother!” Fenriz snarls and attempts to fight off his Beta, but I can see the battle to regain his senses by the way his irises split and meld together. He sneers, and his eyes do not leave me; however, as his fangs and claws retract, the bloodlust eases out of his scent, and he falls to the floor.

This feeling could only be described as insane. My whole body was suddenly consumed by this fire that made me so frustrated. I was feeling the heat earlier, but this one just felt like someone raised the severity of the fire. I could even feel my nails getting elongated.
