“Stay with me,” Fenrir said, his voice strained but steady. “Do not let go.”
“I am trying,” Selene whispered.
The corrupted seal pulsed violently, its fractured light tearing open rifts in the air. Through them, Selene saw flashes of other realms, broken skies, burning forests, endless storms. This was what the First Warden had wanted. A world without borders. A world that would destroy itself under the weight of uncontrolled power.
