The Reign of a Thousand Truths

The Reign of a Thousand Truths

I smiled a bit and repeated what I had stated, "I said, I am your future self, Tristan." I can tell that he is confused right now, judging from the face he makes. I spoke, "You did well for resisting and fighting this far. Your future you are proud of yourself," I smiled at the end of my sentence. "B-But how? Is time traveling real?" His eyes were wide while asking me "In the fantasy world, yes," I answered and giving him a warm aura. "Huh?" He asked with a confused facial expression.

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

"That same word that was mentioned last night." "Does Lisa really travel back in time?" Qadira gave me a puzzled look. "How is that even possible?" "Tempus summatum is a spell," Missus Taima answered. "A time-traveling spell. But few know how to recite it properly, and even fewer even live through it." "It's literally removing yourself from a point in time and inserting it into another," Mother Babette said. "How could anyone's body survive that?" Qadira scoffed in amazement. "Lisa's body survived it. And if she really did travel back in time to write these papers with Marie Laveau and Doctor John in the flesh, then maybe she is the key to stopping Abraham."

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

There they watched a moving chain of winged lobsters cross a great transatlantic aqueduct spilling roses into a desert with an avocado sun made of five glowing jewels in its skin and a clock which raced madly backward from inside an opened tin can. “That was as bizarre as Alice Through the Looking Glass,” Evelyn mumbled to herself as they emerged from the exhibit, but it served its purpose. Afterwards, visitors to the demonstration were treated to various snack-sized samples of the foods they’d seen, in just big enough portions to take the edge off their hunger.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Loque Bella; The Essence of the Moon

Loque Bella; The Essence of the Moon

she said and went on crying as Marius just sat there; not just looking closely at her but with tears in his eyes. There was no way that story was a made up; it wasn't just the words, it was the emotion behind the words, it was too real which meant she wasn't crazy, she was speaking the truth and that just opened his mind. Time travel. He never knew such a thing even existed but there she was confidentally talking about it. Marius thought on. Who was this woman? And just what was she doing in Quentin?

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Other Side of the Mirror (Book 1)

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Other Side of the Mirror (Book 1)

So, I patiently waited while he walked over to the window and stared out of it for a moment before giving me his explanation as to why he needed me. It was nothing like what I’d expected. “I spoke to you and Nora about the fact that magic was real, but has been oppressed over time until it is now believed to be a myth. What I didn’t get into was the fact that there are multiple dimensions of time. These dimensions operate both independently and simultaneously. Someone with the knowledge and skills can travel these dimensions.” “Are you talking about time travel?” I asked with both disbelieve and interest. He nodded. The look on my face was all that he needed to know that he’d have to expl

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

I was just me. I looked back to Claire. She already knew what had happened to get us here. I must have succeeded in bringing her back, and she could tell me how. Which would be a paradox, but what would time travel be without one of those? It’s the sort of thing sci-fi writers love to put in a story and then never bother to explain. Like just pointing out the possibility of a paradox is enough. A boy is visited by his older self in a time machine, who teaches him how to build a time machine. He grows up, builds a time machine, goes back and tells his younger self how to build a time machine... so who worked out how to actually build the machine?

Mated to my Brother's First Love

Mated to my Brother's First Love

"But I don't know if it's the right time." Aiden looked at me, his eyes filled with both relief and worry. "So, we've traveled through time? And this future... it's undergone some catastrophic event." Hunter, who had been silent until now, stepped forward. His eyes, shimmering with intensity, revealed a secret he had been holding back. "I believe we've traveled to the right place and time," he said solemnly. "Time moves differently in different realms, and for every week we spent trapped in the past, a year passed in the future. Something could have happened while we were gone."

IN LOVE WITH A LYCAN

IN LOVE WITH A LYCAN

Since it wasn't longer in the past. "You are asking the wrong person about time travel, but in my own opinion I think it would disappear from the future. The future will change, since they altered the past. All this is really confusing" Joan said. Johnathan was the only one who would have an answer to such a question. Time traveling was his main power after all. Alice wondered where he was with Lilac. She hoped both of them would end up together. "What's on the next page?" Joan reached out and touched to flip the page, immediately her fingers came in contact with the book, she was taken into a memory. She gasped at the sudden glimpses of memories that came to her and immediately retracted he

BETRAYED LUNA, RUTHLESS QUEEN

"W-what? W-what did you find out?" "How did you escape?" "Escape? Did I?" "I saw everything, that kind of hallucination is like you're in the same place in a different time. It is a real place...you traveled in the past." "W-what?" "Usually hallucinations take place in the present time. It was rare to travel in the past or in the future. Vampires either werewolves can't make it to travel in different time. And if vampires had a chance, they won't have a chance to go back anymore...except if they are...."

Gaslit by Reality: My True Husband's Gone

Gaslit by Reality: My True Husband's Gone

Once that thought formed, it wrapped itself around my mind like a creeping vine. Jake once joked that he was a time traveler. It was during a college astronomy club event. We were watching a rare phenomenon where seven planets aligned. He had pointed at the sky and said, "If I disappear out of the blue one day, don't be surprised. I might've gone back to become a king." I had laughed at him for reading too many sci-fi novels. But… what if it hadn't been a joke? What if he really was a time traveler, someone who had accidentally stumbled upon my timeline?
