Chasing Poisonous

Chasing Poisonous

"You know how bad work stress can be these days." "Yeah, I agree." Emily supports and I look back at her, waiting for her to spice up Becky's theory. "You know, my friend used to obsess over Iron man so much that she started imagining herself to be Pepper. You know, it was close to a kind of erotomania. Then she had to visit a psychiatrist for her treatment." She shrugs and I see Becky listening to her keenly as if she is giving her some kind of life lessons. "It can be worst sometimes, like in Nikki's case. Where people come out with some crazy shitty stories. Oh, my god! Who knows, it can be a case of schizophrenia." She observes me with a weird glance and I roll my eyes. "I knew Nikki had

Trades And Orgasms

Trades And Orgasms

I refuse to tell him why the doctor made that decision, the mental image of my mum attempting to jump out of a moving car on the highway is one that still gives me nightmares. "Her diagnosis has changed a number of times; manic depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia. Our insurance covers her room at the facility and some of the programmes she's in, but not all of her medications" i shrug, running out of clothes to fold. Now I have nothing to distract myself with. I raise my head up to meet his gaze. It's full of sorrow, I hate that look, it's why I don't choose to share this story, also why I have so few people in my life.

Love You Like I Used To? Forget It!

Love You Like I Used To? Forget It!

My eyes widened in shock when I saw what it was. It was a medical record. And it wasn't just anyone's medical record. It was mine! I opened the folder and read the first page. "Emilia Quill. Female. 19 years old. The patient is diagnosed with bipolar disorder with intermittent manic episodes. When an episode occurs, the patient will lose control of her actions and have no recollection of what happened during the episode." On the next page was a record of incidents from when I was experiencing an episode, but I recognized none of them. Evidence for every incident was even attached, proving that I had done those things.

Trouble with the Devil

Trouble with the Devil

When she asked her about it, Jenny wasn’t expecting Nora to be actually observant of it. Then again, she had her heartbroken by him; it was impossible for her not to notice it. The corner of her lips turned up charmingly. “Liam has bipolar disorder and is in the active phase of schizophrenia.” Nora held her breath, and her heart tightened. The hand holding the cellphone became tighter, her fingers turning chilly. She thought about the two episodes. It was true that he looked at her in a strange and distant way.

What a great book - well written with minimal errors. So many emotions. Lots of twists and turns. It was hard to put the book down because the storyline was captivating. Love the ending. Definitely worth reading.

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

Fletch went for a run and I wasted no time. “So, dad where are things at with mom, is she medicated, and if so for what even?” He sighed and sat at the table. I said down too. “Well, she’s bi-polar, which I’ve always known. But she’s also always claimed to have visions, like seeing things happen that haven’t happened yet. They are always isolated incidents, and sometimes they involve people she doesn’t even know.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

Biker-in-law's Death Kiss

Biker-in-law's Death Kiss

He sank to the bed, and opened the first page. “For sixteen years, I have had to care for my schizophrenic brother.” His voice caught. “I never saw it as a burden, because that boy is like a son to me.” He opened the book which I now realized was a sketchbook, and my heart stopped at the images before me. Dean’s eyes met mine. “You chose to prey on a mentally ill man?” he shook his head. “You’re one cold-hearted bitch.” The surprise on my face must have been clear because he frowned, “Did he tell you those stories too? The one of me setting him up to be sexually abused, or witnessing our parents drive off the bridge?”

MY INDIAN WIFE: Love Finds Its Way

MY INDIAN WIFE: Love Finds Its Way

She took out all his clothes to settle them back properly but found a pile of books behind. Mishka stared at those books, some of them were her books while all the other books and magazines were on Depression, especially on Melancholic Depression, the type of depression she suffered from. She also spotted a diary beside the books which she saw in Christian’s hand a few times before. She took it out and upon opening it, she found Christian’s handwriting.

I am not done reading the book, but I would like to apologize to the author for my previous comments. The book was slow at first for my taste, but later it got back the excitement of the first book. MANY APOLOGIES, I really recommend the book. And congratulate the author.

As of readers, all wants the ML to live happily with FL without any troubles. yes, it will happen for sure but not in the very next chapter. As for writers, it isn't calk walk to write the enjoyable chapters with coherence and continuity with perfect cliffhangers. Support author's idea.

The Surrogacy Secret

The Surrogacy Secret

“What?” “Nyx’s mom. She’s bipolar. She could go months and months being the kindest, nicest person in the world and then suddenly Nyx was sleeping on our sofa because her mom was off her meds and trying to clean everything in the house with bleach, including Nyx’s skin. She couldn’t have been thirteen. I remember the time she came home covered in bleach and Dad explained to me what it was and what was happening.” Famke swallowed, “you think Mindy was bipolar?”

Amazing, it keeps you captivated from the start. You will laugh, cry and then rejoice once you feel the love that has been poured in these characters. And the length is great. I love it when a story does not drag out but you have enough to see the journey to a happy ending

What Nobody Sees

I'm still learning to live with that. —Like I said, Mathias —I bring myself back to reality—, it's in the early stage. We can work with it. " Another disorder to add to my list of "the faulty screws in my system." I roll my eyes at that madness. Without a doubt, he's right about something: the guy's less severe than my bipolar disorder, which I've always had, stopped treating when my mom died, and which started to catch up with me when I discovered this "fantastic world."
